My instagram had already got over 4k followers just in the first hour of Simons vlog being posted and some of the sidemen reposting my post onto their stories so i was expecting my phone to continue blowing up.
I was just setting up my camera on its tripod whilst trying to figure out the best back drop to do my covers in for the meantime. I had done my makeup and hair nice so i looked presentable to be on camera for the first time.
My phone beeped so i looked to see who it was quickly.

Harry was so supportive with whatever happened. I was confused about what was happening with us though. I had been a widow for a week now and i was already starting to fall for someone new.
I shoved my feelings down so i could focus on making this video. I found a beat that would not be copyrighted and set up my microphone.
I turned the camera on, played the beat and started singing. I didn't say 'hi' or 'welcome to the channel', i just sang.
I chose 'Yours' by Ella Henderson. It was a tough one, especially as i hadn't sung in a while. Part of me wanted to choose a different one, it had quite a deep meaning behind it but i loved the song anyway. It was a popular song but that's not why i chose it, it was special to me. I needed my first video to be something people remembered so that's why i put my all into the song. Everything i could give i gave.
