Chapter One

Bella's POV

Today I am moving in with Charlie because my mom, Renee, just got remarried to a minor league baseball player named Phil. He is younger than her and closer to my age, maybe about ten years older than me.

I walk towards the boarding area and I turn around to look at my mom and Phil.

"Are you sure you want to leave?" they ask.

"Yeah, i'm sure."

I give her and Phil a hug goodbye and board the plane. When I get on the plane I sit back and read my favorite book, Wuthering Heights.

I wake up to the flight attend shaking me.

"Ma'am the flight is over, we have arrived in Seattle." she says.

I get out of the seat, grabbing my back pack, and I walk to the baggage claim. I get my suit case and see Charlie standing there awkwardly.

"Hey dad." I say when I get to him.

"Hey Bells." he says giving my a short hug.

We walk to his car and when we get in we start our long drive to La push.
