"I'm really sorry that I can't come Love." Liam apologized on the verge of bursting out into tears.
"It's fine." You stuttered closing the computer lid down before Liam could see you cry.
Tomorrow was your one-year anniversary, and Liam couldn't make it. Management had scheduled a late interview, you thought it was because they didn't like you. You has always thought that, and now they had proven it.
You decided to go back up to bed and cry yourself to sleep, "What did I ever do to management?" You whispered drifting off to sleep.
The next morning you decided that today you would eat ice cream all day watching endless soap operas, and maybe the lads' interview in between. Around 11:30 the interview started so you put down your ice cream, and switched channels quickly. Unfortunately the host had already started to ask questions. Then you finally noticed one thing; Liam was missing.
"Why isn't Liam here today?" The interviewer asked nicely.
"Uhm..." The boys exchanged looks, "He's very ill." The lads explained nodding their heads.
He lied to me. He's ill?! You thought very upset. Knock...knock.
"Can you get that?" You asked looking at your cat hopefully. She gave you a dirty look and fell back to sleep. "Fine then..." You mumbled to yourself walking to the door. "Hello?" You shouted, there was only a box of chocolates beneath your feet. "Oh well. " You said picking up the chocolates.
A sharp pinch tingled through your sides very quickly. "Ahhhh!" You screamed turning back.
"Ello there Jessie." Liam smiled happily.
Your eyes widened in excitement, "Liam!!!"
"I missed you."
"Me too. But why aren't you at the interview?" You asked hugging him tighter.
"Management can't tell me what to do. Screw them, they're never taking me away from my Jessie." Liam giggled looking into your eyes.
"You're the best."
"I know. Here, I am gonna make you some pasta for dinner okay?" Liam asked grabbing a pan out of the cub board.
"Yeah. I'll made dessert!" You shriek happily.
"I love you." Liam says kissing your forehead.
"I love you too."
