Laying in your arms felt surreal to me. Your arm around my waist felt like a dream. Who knew the simple act of cuddling could cure a lifetime of insecurities. Laying my head on your chest and listening to your heartbeat gave me a blanket of hope and love that I felt safe.
But that was not how their life started. It started the day when the main character of this story decided to let their feelings out to a complete stranger with expectations of losing nothing.
Attraction is a very overused word in this world, it starts with eye contact and ends with signing the paper. But what the main character felt was not just a simple attraction, it was a surreal feeling of being back home. The best feeling in the world is not only felt, but lived throughout.
In the mind of Fire, that's what he felt. For him, his world was filled with vengeance, power, blood, and reaching the top. Love took a backseat because all his life he attracted danger yet that didn't stop him from meeting his Water.
For Water, love was always around the corner, only waiting to be discovered. For her, it wasn't just about falling in love, she wanted to be completely devoured by the presence of the one.
For both of them, love simply wasn't enough, they wanted more. They searched for more, and then they found each other, they found meaning.
