Bank sat there tending the store, while his eyes were constantly looking at the door, waiting for Phai to arrive, until it was time to close the store. The door opened with Phai's tall figure.
- Is it time to close the billiards already? - Phai asked.
- I'm about to close, wait in the room while the time comes. - replied Bank.
Phai nodded and sat down on the couch next to Bank's chair.
- Where are you going to park the car? - Bank asked.
- In front of the fence of your house. I'll wait for you to close the store first. Then I go to the house and park. replied Phai. Bank nodded.
- Why don't you take the gate keys and park the car inside? Then go upstairs and take a shower. When I'm done locking up, I'll follow you. - Bank asked looking at Phai.
- Why don't we take a shower together? - Phai asked, making Bank freeze a little.
- No. I'm too lazy to take a shower. - Bank joked to stifle his feelings upon seeing Phai.
- You can rest, we'll do it later. said Phai again.
- Stop joking. Take the gate key, put the car in the garage. Bank cut the conversation short by handing him the key to the gate.
House.
Phai took it with a slight smile, raising the corners of his mouth before leaving the store to park the car. Bank breathed a sigh of relief, not understanding why Phai came to talk to him like that, even after they agreed that they would stop thinking about the matter and go back to being friends.
like before.
- Is Phai trying to joke to make it easier for us to be friends again? - Bank muttered in disbelief when it was closing time.
Bank handed everything over to his two subordinates and helped check the cleanliness of the store to close it. Phai didn't come back, so Bank figured he must have gone up to his room.
When he finished, he returned home, opened the door and entered the room, but was surprised because he didn't see Phai. The car is parked, but Phai is not in the room.
- Phai? - Bank called out to the other person as he searched the bathroom, but couldn't find him, so he left the room again, before hearing the sound of his daughter crying in the room.
- Shhh... - Phai turned to make a sound trying to stop Bank from making a loud noise.
- What is happening? - Bank asked immediately anxiously, but not too loudly when he saw his daughter sobbing softly.
- It was probably a nightmare. I approached and heard a scream, so I ran to see and avoid alarming your mother.- replied Phai.
When Phai saw that Ingfah was awake, he ran to hug her immediately. Then Phai picked her up and comforted her as he rocked her to sleep.
- Let me hold her, I'll lay her down. Go take a shower, Bank said respectfully because Phai hadn't come to take care of his daughter. Phai looked at Bank because he had the feeling of being connected with Bank and Ingfah, he felt at ease, in the family, more than when he was with Pin.
-Huh... Daddy Bank. a sobbing voice called for her father, so Phai agreed with Bank to lay Ingfah down, but when he received her, the little girl refused to let go of Phai's shirt.
- Uncle Phai... Huh... Ingfah also mentioned Phai, causing the two to look at each other.
- I think it would be better to calm Ingfah down first. Phai said. Bank nodded. Then, Bank laid Ingfah down to sleep on the bed and lay down next to her, while Phai sat on the other side, helping to stroke Ingfah's head while her back leaned lightly against Phai. The two helped rock Ingfah to sleep.
