Jungkook, a devoted father to Jeon Taey/n, found himself caught in the hustle of a typical morning. As they prepared to leave for school, Jungkook reminded his son, "Are you ready for school, Jeon Taey/n?"

"Yes, appa," Taey/n replied with a smile, his tiny backpack slung over his shoulder.

"Let's go to school, then. Go get your bag," Jungkook instructed, and Taey/n eagerly fetched his bag before hopping into the car.

The school was just a short drive away, and as they approached their destination, an unexpected encounter awaited them. A woman suddenly stepped in front of Jungkook's car, prompting him to slam on the brakes. Concerned for her well-being, Jungkook quickly got out of the car.

"Oh, shit," he muttered, checking on the woman who had pulled her hair out of her face. "I'm sorry; I wasn't looking."

"Thank you so much, Mr...?" the woman began.

"Jungkook. Just call me Jungkook," he replied.

"Okay, Mr. Jungkook. I'm so sorry. I'm Y/n," she introduced herself.

Jungkook was taken aback. Y/n - the same name as his son's mother. He couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance. Before he could delve deeper into his thoughts, Taey/n exclaimed, "Miss Y/n, hi!"

The woman turned towards Taey/n, a warm smile on her face. "Oh, hi, little one. How are you today?"

"I'm good," Taey/n beamed. "You look really energetic, Taey/n."

"Yes, because dad is going to bring a puppy for me today," he proudly shared.

"Wow," Y/n said, turning to Jungkook. "Thanks again, Jungkook. I'm getting late for school. See you later in class, Taey/n."

"Miss Y/n," Jungkook called out, stopping her. "I will drop you at school; we both have the same destination."

"Yes, Mr. Jungkook," Y/n agreed. "Sure, why not."

"Sit in the front, Y/n; Taey/n can sit in the back." Jungkook suggested.

"No, it's okay. Taey/n can sit on my lap. Don't worry," Y/n insisted.

They settled into the car, with Jungkook driving and thoughts swirling in his mind. "She looks exactly like Y/n and also has the same name. Is this her second life?" he wondered as they embarked on a short but impactful journey.

Upon reaching the school, Y/n and Taey/n said goodbye to Jungkook and headed inside. Jungkook lingered, watching Y/n until she disappeared into the school building. Lost in contemplation, he mused

"Y/n is the teacher? Okay, and I find out just now. I should visit school more often, and who knows, I might get a chance with Y/n again, maybe."

Determined to explore this newfound connection, Jungkook drove to his workplace, the prospect of a second chance lingering in his thoughts.The days passed swiftly, and the connection between Jungkook and Y/n deepened as they spent more time together. Jungkook made it a routine to visit the school every day, getting to know Y/n better. Their friendship grew stronger, and soon they found themselves planning a casual outing to a nearby coffee shop.

As they sat enjoying their drinks, Jungkook decided to share a personal piece of information. "Tomorrow is Taey/n's birthday."

Y/n looked surprised and asked, "Oh wow, how old is he turning?"

"He's going to be 7 next day," Jungkook replied with a smile. Taey/n, who had been playing nearby, overheard the conversation and rushed over.

"Miss Y/n, can you come to my birthday tomorrow?" he asked excitedly.

Y/n smiled at him. "Of course, Taey/n, if you invite me."

"Then I am inviting you to my birthday. It's been only me and Appa celebrating my birthday since 3 years," he shared with a hint of sadness.

Curious, Y/n asked, "What about your mother?"

"Appa says that she is in heaven," Taey/n replied.

Y/n expressed her condolences, saying, "I am so sorry; I didn't know that."

Jungkook then pointed out, "Y/n, do you know that you look exactly like her, and not only do you look like her, but your name also matches hers. Her name was also Y/n."

Surprised, Y/n remarked, "Wow, that's so amazing, but your son never told me that my name matches his mother's."

Jungkook chimed in, "It's because he has never seen his mother. His mother passed away when he was born."

"I am so sorry. I shouldn't have asked that," Y/n apologized.

"It's okay, Y/n."

" Okay, Taey/n, I will see you tomorrow. I have to go; I have so much work to do at home. Okay, see you later," y/n said as she bid farewell.

Y/n smiled and jungkook said, "I will text you my address. Okay, bye."

The following day was Taey/n's birthday, and the excitement in the air was palpable. Jungkook greeted his son, "Happy birthday, Taey/n! You've finally turned 7 today, and Miss Y/n is going to be here soon."

The doorbell rang, and there stood Y/n, offering her warm wishes. "Happy birthday, Taey/n. May you have everything you wish for."

The birthday festivities continued, with cake cutting and gifts. Taey/n made a heartfelt wish, "I wish Miss Y/n gets married to my father." Y/n and Jungkook exchanged glances, feeling a connection that went beyond words.

As the celebration unfolded, Taey/n received a gift from Y/n - a beautiful Bugatti Veyron toy car. Overjoyed, he played with it, but an unfortunate fall led to a minor injury. Y/n rushed to his aid, and they hurriedly took Taey/n to the hospital. The doctor attended to the wound, assuring them it was nothing serious.

In a moment of vulnerability, Y/n spoke to Jungkook, "It must be very hard to be a single dad, right, Jungkook?"

"It has been, but since I met him, I never thought that my life would be so beautiful," Jungkook replied.

Y/n couldn't help but share her thoughts. "I also thought about the words your son said to me yesterday at the coffee shop. I think he really deserves a mother. And, if you like, I can be his mother. Don't get me wrong; it's only if I can take care of him. He is lonely, and the same goes for me. I don't have any family, and I would love to have your son beside me. I don't know why, but I feel a connection with Taey/-"

Jungkook, moved by her words, pressed a kiss on Y/n's lips, expressing his emotions through a heartfelt embrace. "You don't know that I have always been in love with you, and I hope you love me back."

Y/n reciprocated, "I was afraid to say that, but Jungkook, I also love you so much. You are a perfect father, and you will be a perfect husband."

"Can you honor me with that? If I am a perfect father, can you make me a perfect husband as well?" Jungkook asked, his eyes reflecting sincerity.

"Are you sure?" Y/n teased.

"Yes. Will you marry me, Y/n?" Jungkook asked, a hopeful smile on his face.

"Yes, yes, a hundred times yes," Y/n replied, sealing their commitment with joy and love. And so, their lives continued, filled with happiness and the promise of a beautiful future together.
