Chapter 3

Pov Ezra Squall
Seeing how Morrigan was certain on our agreement satisfied me. I already knew that sooner or later she would come running to me, begging for knowledge.

I had big plans for Morrigan. In all those years I spent looking for a heir, I never saw any child with a soul so dark and so ambitious as she. She is everything I have been looking for. Someone sweet and friendly but at the same time greedy and thirsty for knowledge. She reminds me when I was at her age, and that is what made me choose her.

-So what do we do know?--Asked Morrigan--We go to your evil covile?

-Miss Crow, I hate to disappoint you but I don't own an evil covile

-It was a joke...Nevermind--She answered bored--How are you gonna teach me? Like, it is not like you could just appear anywhere you want. I don't think people would be very happy to see you here.

-Don't worry miss Crow, I thought of everything--I said calmly--When I call you for classes you will know

-I thought we would have a schedule, and not just do random classes

Even after everything I've seen about Morrigan, she continues to surprise me

-I will see what I can do miss Crow. But I am impressed by your attitude. You certainly made the right choice coming to me--I said, with a proud tone

-I don't need you approval -- Said she, impatient -- As I said, I just became your apprendice to cure the hollowpox and help saving my friends, and you already did half of what I want.

-Oh I am sure you did miss Crow--I said sarcastically--I don't know why you are so afraid to confess. To say, outloud, that you are greedy by power and that you wanted to be my apprendice. You may fool your friends and you "dear" patron, but you don't fool me Morrigan Crow--She shuddered when I said her name--Don't play the hero, when we both know you are not one.

Her face had a fear expression. She didn't say anythint, but I could understaind by her silence that she didn't have any arguments agains what I just said

Pov Morrigan
After Squall desapeared in the gossamer with his monsters I sat on my bed and started to think. Am I really that bad for wanting to understaind my power? For wanting to actually be on controll of it?

I knew Squall was trying to manipulate me. He wanted me to think I look like him, but I wouldn't let me be fooled by him.

I got out of my room and went searching for someone. I wanted to distract my self.
I found fenestra in the hall and tryed to make a conversation.

-Hey Fen

-Morrigan where were you? I was looking for you just now. Jupiter wants to talk to you

I knew about what he wanted to talk, and I didn't want to have this conversation now.

-Oh, ok. Where is he?

-I don't know, but last time I saw him I think he tried to go into your room to check if you were there

What if he saw me and Squall?

-And when was this?

-15 minutes ago

Oh no! Ok I have to calm down. There is a possibility he didn't listen to my convetsation with...

-Mog there you are--Jupiter said calmly from the end of the hallway--I wanted to talk to you now. And I think you know about what--His voice was becoming more enthusiastic

I didn't say anything. I think that if I tryed to I would start crying, and I didn't want to do that in a place that everyone could hear me.

He leades me straight to the caffeteria and  sits down.

-So Mog I got a letter from the mail from your grandma telling me that she wanted to see you again. Isn't that exciting?--His smile goes from one ear to the other

I think I breathed a sigh of relief. For one moment I thought he saw me and Squall. But all my happiness went down the drain when he asked me the next question

-Mog? Was Ezra Squall recently with you?--He was narrowing his eyes, trying to figure out something

-Hm?

-Was Ezra Squall recently with you? I can see that he was in the same place as you

Damn it!! I forgot Jupiter was a witness and could basically unravel me like a riddle

-Why do you say that?--I was shivering so much that at this point that I couldn't hide even if I tryed really hard

-Because I see it. Don't lie to me Mog. Did he come to speak to you?

-Well, yes

-Why didn't you tell me Morrigan?! This is really serious!!

While Jupiter is stressing out, I am thinking on what would be his reaction if he knew that it was me who demanded to speak with Ezra Squall
