─001 > { Mitsuba-Senpai } <
In the Mitsuba Residence, M/N was getting ready to leave for his first day of high school. The second semester started as he brushed his silky pink hair, little strands entangling with his fingertips before tying it into a small ponytail.
He's a tall and slender male whose captivating complexion attracted the attention of most of his peers, with a light pink jacket tied around his shoulders and over his uniform.
"You look ugly, you Pink Horse," Sousuke said, who carried the same features as M/N watched him from the mirror, peeking his little head behind the door frame.
"Aww~ of course! Our Sousuke is the cutest here!" M/N cheered while sending him a gentle smile through the mirror.
"Yeah, but I'm different!" He retorted as he stuck out his tongue, glaring at his older brother. The difference between them was their hair lengths as M/N would keep his hair in a medium length, slightly longer than his little brother.
"Keep telling yourself that," M/N snickered as the tone of his voice changed.
M/N continued to fix the slightly wrinkled fabric of his uniform while listening to Sousuke telling his stories about the photography club. Sousuke was fond of photography-- he would always flaunt his older brother and mother about it.
He also likes it whenever M/N comes to pick him up and hang out with him if they both have enough money to spend or just walk around to places.
"M/N-nii, can we stop by that shop again?"
"Uhh, We'll see. I have already made a promise to my dear highness that I'd be hanging out with him later," M/N said sheepishly with a hint of uncertainty.
He turned his head toward his direction and added, "I can just cancel it and move it for next time if you want-"
"It's fine, you can go with your stupid prince," Sousuke reassures him. "I just don't want him coming to our house again-- in the early morning asking for you, what an insane sadistic bastard..." Sousuke complained as he muttered the nickname under his breath.
Sousuke shriveled from the thought as M/N awkwardly chuckled, reminiscing that same day when Teru came to their house around five in the morning when he came to the Mitsuba residence to hang out with M/N.
Both of them were texting when Teru brought up a topic wanting to talk to M/N about something important. It took a lot of convincing when M/N gave up and agreed because his best friend usually gets special treatment from him. Also, he offered to pay so it was a win-win.
M/N's little brother, Mitsuba Sousuke. A middle schooler, with a cocky nitpicking attitude toward him and their mother but slightly different towards other people at school.
She would always get worried when both of them would arrive late at night-- an unsettling apprehension would usually rise, but once they arrived that feeling would disappear.
After they have stepped outside, the marvelous sight of the scorching sun rising as dusk slowly shallowed-- with those bright rays lighting down the town. A fresh breeze following with leaves below them gently rustle, they were met with soft kisses of blissing air.
"Sousuke, let's go! Mother, we're heading out now!" M/N yelled, informing their mother as he quickly wore his shoes and opened the door, but he stopped as he turned towards his mother, who walked out from the kitchen.
"Don't forget your lunch, M/N! Be sure to pick up your little brother and walk home together. I wouldn't want to see the both of you getting into an accident," Mother said as she walked towards them and gave them a peck on their forehead. A peck of protection is what she calls it.
Their mother was gentle and doting. She carried the exact opposite mannerism of her sons, cherishing both of them equally and loved them unconditionally. To the point, she would always overwork herself to her limits before getting scolded by her children.
Even so, she knew how much her children cared about her.
"Take care, Mother!"
"Make sure you don't overwork yourself too much, ha- ... Mom," Sousuke said as he corrected himself from almost calling her the nickname he gave her and replaced it right away when he felt a harsh nudge from his oldest brother who stood next to him outside the door.
"Aww, hehe~ both of you worry too much! I can handle myself perfectly well. Take care now and get there safely!:D"
