Kayla flutter her eyes open. Kulthum's sob woke her up. She checked the time on her phone. Why is Kulthum crying at this hour of night? Kayla glanced at her third roommate and she was sleeping soundly.
Kayla scramble out of her bed.
She climbed Kulthum's bunk.

Kulthum, why are you crying? Are you alright? Kayla muttered.
Kulthum wipe off her tears. I'm fine you shouldn't be awake at this hour of night. we have 6:00 am lecture tomorrow. Kulthum muttered with a sniff.
Kayla hissed.
Kulthum I am Your best friend. You don't have any friends than me. we don't hide anything from each other. Kayla muttered silently not to wake their third roommate.

Kayla, my Dad hate me. what have I done to deserve such hatred from him? Kulthum cried.
Kulthum everywhere is quiet. You will scare other people sleeping in their rooms. Kayla whisper.

Yes, he didn't call me to ask if I arrived safely since I come to India.
