"Alrighty, have a good day at school," smiled Ailun, as he shut off the car and hopped out of the car heading to the passengers seat to open the door to his little brother.

"Bye-bye Gege," the young boy said, taking his school bag and leaving the car. He had come the day before to find his homeroom class so it wouldn't be embarrassing having to ask a teacher or upperclassmen for help. Finding the class was the easy part of the day, the hard part came once Fen was called to the front of the classroom at the start of class.

"We have a new student with us today," the teacher said, urging Fen to the front of the room. While he walked to the front of the room he felt eyes following him to the front of the room. Maybe it was just the nerves he thought to himself as he stood listening to the teacher giving a small speech about how everyone should be polite and respectful to him.

"Let's go around the room and say our names." the teacher smiled. She turned her attention to the first row students. Fen barely was able to keep up with the names of each student, especially with the few students who had overlapping surnames. There were too many kids for Fen to keep track of until the last two students in the back corner of the room were called on for their names. The girl looked him dead in the eye. Her skin was unlike the rest of the students, a much deeper brown and her hair was more wavy than straight black.

"Yin." she said in a smooth voice. Fen waited for the girl to then say her surname but instead the boy sitting next to her with seemingly dyed pearl white hair spoke up.

"Yang." he stated and with that fen was sent to his seat in the second row.

When it was break time Fen immediately turned around to watch as Yin and Yang, the strangest kids in his class stood in unison and left the classroom. Something didn't sit quite right with Fen while he watched the boy and girl leave the room. The first obvious thing that stood out about Yin and Yang was Yang's hair color. Fen had gotten a small glance at the boy's roots and there was no sign of there being any sort of hair dye and the hair looked extremely healthy to him so as strange as it was, maybe Yang had naturally white hair. The second thing that stood out to Fen was the two children's lack of surnames and their names. He recalled standing up at the front of the room and seeing that even from a distance he could see that the two were obviously siblings or related in some way and yet neither of them said their surname.

"It's no use trying to talk to them," Baihu said suddenly. He was then a boy sitting at the desk next to Fen.

"Yin and Yang?" Fen asked, wondering if he had been talking to himself out loud.

"Yeah, they don't talk to anyone in class during breaks or lunch. No one knows much about them but everyone in class says that they are the reincarnations of Pangu and like the real Yin and Yang from the old legends." Baihu smirked seeing the expression on Fen's face.

"Come on, just ignore them. I'll introduce you to my friends." the boy said, dragging Fen out of his seat. He stumbled through the classroom meeting a group of boys who all seemed nice enough. Throughout the entire time he was staring out of the classroom window into the hallway looking at the two strange students wondering if they could really be the polar opposites that kept the world in balance or if Baihu was simply pulling his leg.
