(Before I begin, the video above is for my dad I have now. I do not own it and would like to give credit to the person who made it.) The 'song' I'm gonna put here is for my military father figure. He's not my real father but I respect him as such. He is my brother, confidante, father, and friend in one.
Verse 1:
3 years ago, you saved me
Pulled me out of a war trench
I remember seeing you and thinking
"Are you my Angel? The one to save me from myself?"
You smiled at me and said, "It's okay to fall, but don't lay there and die."Verse 2:
You picked up my broken pieces and put me back together again.
You saw my hurt and pain and sent it all away.
You were my warrior, my King Author.
You were my hero.Pre-Chorus:
You fought my demons for me.
Fought for my life, and gave me hope.
So father tell meChorus 1:
Tell me we will always have good memories
Tell me we'll never grow apart
Tell me we will last as father and daughter
Please, tell me that this isn't a dream.Verse 3:
The days you are gone and shipped off, seem empty.
Like a growing void of numbness that never seems to leave.
You always promise to come home safe.
That you won't come home hurt.
And you keep your promise, if only to give me peace of mind.Verse 4:
The days your home, bring joy and gladness.
You are forever on my mind father.
You see me and pick me up and spin me around because you know I love it.
You kiss my forehead and tell me, "I love you daughter."
You are my sun, my light.Chorus 2:
Let's keep our memories alive and with happiness.
Lets keep our bond and always stay together.
Lets stay as father and daughter forever.
Lets step out of dreams and into reality.

Tell Me
De TodoSo, this is a 'song' I created about 4-5 months ago. It came out more as a short story than what I had planned, so I hope its good! I might add more chapters.
