"Ow... damn, teleportation..." Moon would curse quietly as he groaned and pushed himself to his knees, up from the dirty floor of the prison. A hand resting on his forehead as he looked around a bit, searching for Solar, who was a couple feet away.
Solar was hunched over a bit, hands resting on his knees as he was just taking a moment to gather himself. He didn't teleport often... if at all, so it made him feel a little woozy.
"You good?" Moon asked as he stretched out his back, grunting softly as he did so.
Solar looked over at him and gave a nod as he sighed deeply and stood straight.
"Yeah... I'll live." He muttered as he looked around where they were. They seemed to be in a lobby area of the dilapidated prison. It looked straight out of a zombie apocalypse movie.
"So... Ruin. Where would he be? The cells are an obvious choice, but it almost seems to obvious, y'know?" Moon started as he began to traverse through the lobby and past all the objects on the ground. The roof was slightly collapsed in, the sunlight seeping through as the dust seemed to shimmer.
Solar grumbled a reply as he followed behind Moon, looking around and taking in the scenery.
"Eclipse is smart, but I doubt he'd go that far... from what you've explained to me, he doesn't seem to have as much... flare to him as he use to, right?" Solar stated as he glanced at Moon, who nodded with a hum In confirmation.
"So, with that in mind... he's probably going to use Ruin as some twisted form of entertainment or... something to do, I guess. That puzzle didn't exactly scream "Eclipse"..." He continued as he sighed heavily. Moon hummed once more, in thought this time as they approached an intersection of hallways. Briefly looking around and down each hallway, Solar noticing a group of small signs on the wall, he dusted the layer of dirt off them and read them. Pointing down the right hall, which led to the cell block.
"Down here... be quiet and careful. We don't know if he's still here or not.." Solar said in a more hushed tone as he started to walk down the hall on light feet. Moon followed behind as Solar took the lead.
There was a few minuets of silence as they ventured down the hall and around objects. Moon had a rather... interesting train of thought running through his head at the moment.
"Solar seems to stand up for Ruin quite a lot recently... he hasn't said much anything against him..." Moon watched Solar a bit, who looked focused and determined as they continued forward, turning another hall.
Moon then gave a small smirk as he nudged Solars shoulder a bit with his own. "Sooo... worried for Ruin, hm? Maybe a little too much recently?" Moon said in a rather teasing tone. Solar looked over at him with a confused look before he saw Moons cheeky smirk and deadpanned with a slight scowl, looking back ahead of him.
But he didn't deny it. If anything he just scoffed and rolled his eyes as he walked a little faster to get out of pace with Moon as Moon raised his brows in surprise that he was right, then he gave a belly laugh and jogged to catch up to Solar.
"No way! Solar, you-" Moon was cut off when his audio receptors picked up some soft sounds - soft cries.
Solar seemed to hear it too as he perked up and looked left and right, trying to pinpoint the sound before jogging down a hallway.
For all they knew, Eclipse could've already beaten Ruin to a poor pulp and he could be writhing in agony while they were diddydallying and gossiping like school girls.
