• student and teacher relationship (basically what the book is about)
• large age gap ( sixteen and twenty nine, making it 12 years)
• domestic violence (Dakota undergoes abuse from her father who is an alcoholic, whether it is physical or verbal)
• smut/sex (sex is bound to happen in this story, I will but a warning before the chapter begins btw!)
• heavy description of bruises and wounds (Since Dakota's father hurts her more in a physical manner, I will have to describe her wounds and bruises, and I know it triggers many, a warning of that will be placed)
