"what'd brady say?" isla said not looking up from her worksheet she had to do.
"oh it's nothing, just wanted me to ask if you could put him on with xoch."
"yeah i could do that," isla looked amused at the situation. "you know she likes him too right? so it's gonna work out anyway." connor's eyes widened since he in fact didn't know that.
"no i didn't actually, but now i know thanks to you." he smiled a little playfully, before he started play-fighting with isla. only a little bit of struggle, and she finally got the upper hand and pinned his arms down. it was silent; neither of the two were saying anything.
"you know you have really pretty eyes, right isla?" he muttered.
"huh? oh. yeah thank you, connor." she got off him with haste and cleared her throat. "anyways, why don't we watch something?" isla was blushing, he could see the red of her cheeks get even more vibrant with every word she said. cute.
"yeah, i'm down. whatever you want to watch i'm okay with." the girl put on chowder, one of her favorite shows to watch since she was little. by the end of 5 episodes, it was already time for him to go, even if he didn't want to just yet.
