A year has flown by, and Akito has carved out a formidable reputation for himself. He has inherited Laine's launch form, refining it with his own unique flair that borders on the edge of audacity. Akito's prowess in blading has earned him recognition, not only for his triumph in the district tournament but also for his exceptional talent as a violinist.

Dressed to the nines, Akito prepares to attend Japan's national tournament, where his twin brother Akira has secured a spot among the final eight participants. This round, known as the battle for the semi-finals, promises to be a thrilling showdown.

Just as Akito readies himself, Akira bursts into the room, executing his signature backflip-to-blackflip combo before landing gracefully on Akito's bed. "Yo yo yo, hello m-" Akito swiftly covers Akira's mouth, unwilling to endure any impromptu rapping.

"The fans may adore your rapping skills, but I, unfortunately, do not," Akito calmly remarks, carefully placing his violin inside its protective case as he gazes at Akira.

Akira pouts, a hint of disappointment in his eyes. "You can be so mean sometimes," he sighs, crossing his arms and turning away.

A small smile tugs at Akito's lips as he playfully flicks Akira's forehead. "Come on, we can't afford to be late for your battle," he urges, his voice filled with a mix of encouragement and sibling banter.

"I still can't wrap my head around why you didn't join the national tournament though," Akira remarks, flicking Akito's forehead playfully.

Akito's smile widens slightly as he ruffles Akira's hair. "I'm fully occupied with my violin lessons, and being the reigning champion in our district is satisfying enough for me."

"You're always engrossed in your violin," Akira says, a playful glint in his eyes, before attempting a flip and accidentally stumbling, resulting in a loud thud. "Damn it... I'm fine, no worries."

Amused, Akito chuckles as he helps Akira back up. "It's because I have a genuine passion for playing the violin, and let's not forget, you've inherited Laine's knack for clumsiness."

"Hey! I haven't! I'm just really really really excited!!!" Akira protests, his face turning red.

Akito places his hand on Akira's head, his smile warm yet teasing. "Could it be because you're going up against Zac, your idol and rival?"

Akira's face flushes even more, but he quickly composes himself. "Who wouldn't be excited? It's Zac the Sunrise!" he exclaims, his smile radiant.

"Oh, Akira... You've worked tirelessly to reach this point," Akito thinks to himself, a gentle smile gracing his lips as he gazes at Akira's exhilarated yet blushing face.

"Come on, let's get going," Akito says, walking past Akira. "If we're late, Laine will be furious," he adds with a warm smile before exiting the bedroom.

Akira smiles and follows closely behind. "Hey, wait up!" he calls out, his smile bright and eager.

Finally, when Akito and Akira arrive, Akira heads towards the waiting rooms. As he enters, he notices three individuals already inside. He scans the room, hoping to spot Akito, but his brother is nowhere to be found.

"I thought he said he'd help me prepare," Akira thinks to himself, a hint of disappointment creeping in. However, his thoughts are interrupted as a familiar blue silhouette approaches him. It's none other than Valt Aoi.

"Hey! You're Akira, right?" Valt exclaims with a wide smile. "The name's Valt! I watched your battles, and they were awesome! You were like swish! Swash! Boom! Pang!" He gestures with his hands, attempting to create special effects.
