Chapter 3

THALIA

"Oh my god! That fucking guy!" Napapikit ako sa naging reaksyon ni  Mieka. This girl's currently engaged with a dentist. Very good-looking and genuine guy, I must say.

We're in a private room in an exclusive restaurant na pag-aari nang asawa ni Steph. Lahat kaming magbabarkada ay nandidito. 

We made a pact kasi during highschool na no matter how busy we are with our own lives, we will always make time for each other.

Anyway, I was just telling them about what happened with Henry last week. I didn't even realized na it has been a week since the incident happened. 

To be honest, it wasn't the thing with Henry that stuck with me the most, but that one night with the unknown woman. Hindi ko kinuwento pa sa kanila ang nangyari samin ng babaeng iyon dahil paniguradong guguluhin lang nila ako.

Up until now, I can still remember her face. Quite an attractive woman, really.

"You have to sue him, girl." What he did was wrong but frankly speaking, a part of it is my fault too. Besides, I wanna have my revenge on him in my own way. 

I literally got sick after that night. Apparently high fever and nausea are the side effects of the drugs. I went to the doctor to get tested and they found traces of an expensive sex pill na mabibili lamang sa labas ng Pinas.

"Don't worry about it. I have my ways." I said as I sipped on my drink.

"Thalia, you have to stop this. Who knows kung ano pang klaseng lalaki ang ma-meet mo along the way. Baka serial killer na." Concerned na sabat ni Chaela. May record din 'tong babaeng 'to sa pagiging play girl but now she's in a happy family with a crypto trader guy. 

She's living the life that most girls dream of.

"Guys, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me. Let's stop talking about my life." They all agreed pero before that nag-murmur pa ang mga bruha. Na kesyo daw useless lang daw ang pagpapayo sakin dahil labas pasok lang daw sa tenga ko.

I mean duh. I'll take your advice when I need it.

CATHERINE

"Take care alright? And see you next session. Same time." I said as I led my client out of my office. 

"Sure, doc. Thank you po. See you." And then she left. I went back to my desk and sat on my office chair. I had a long week.  Pumasok na naman sa isip ko ang nangyaring hindi dapat nung gabing yon.

After that mind blowing night with that woman ay halos hindi na nga ako makagalaw pagkaumaga. Ngunit pinilit ko talagang bumangon dahil ayokong maabutan niya ako.

As much as possible ay gusto kong malimotan nalang yung nangyari. Hindi ko alam ung anong pumasok sa isip ko at pumayag ako sa ganon. 

I just cheated on Henry. My fiance and the love of my life. Nakaka-guilty lang. And naiinis ako na hinayaan kong mangyari iyon.
