Chapter 3: Yoichi

I'll be waiting, horned snake of temptation

Ai walked to the edge of heaven, still carrying izuku, who had became quiet a few moments ago, "does it still hurt?" Ai asked in a low voice, not wanting to startle izuku

Without looking up, izuku nodded and nuzzled more into Ai's should, "alright, I'm going to put you down so I can heal you" Ai felt izuku grab him tighter, not wanting to let go, but the demon still kneeled down and sat izuku on the ground

Izuku looked away from Ai, his hair covering his now bloody eye socket, but Ai rested his hand gently on the angel's pale face and moved his hair with the other, revealing the wound, izuku continued to cry as he leaned into Ai's touch

"Izuku, I'm so sorry. . ." Ai said, kissing izuku's forehead before grazing his hand over the wound, a flash of red following as Ai healed the wound, though it didn't fully heal it, the socket was still empty, but the blood was completely gone

Ai sighed at this, he hoped izuku's eye would heal, but he knew better, "how's your chest?" Izuku asked, running his hand over Ai's exposed chest, the wound was healed, but there was a massive scar, Ai flinched slightly as he gently grabbed izuku's hand and brought it to his lips, kissing it softly

"I'll be fine izuku, I only need a moment to heal, I'm more worried about you, I couldn't return your eye"

Izuku touched near the socket, he no longer felt the pain, but he couldn't see the surroundings to his left, there was only darkness from that side

Feeling something move in his sleeve, Ai  opened his robe, revealing a long albino snake with 4 eyes, "thanksss for forgetting me" the snake hissed, wrapping around Ai's neck

Ai: oh please soul, you enjoy being in there

Soul: Thatsss besssidesss the point -_-

Ai rolled his eyes at the snake, returning his attention to izuku, who moved onto Ai's lap and leaned into his chest, still looking down, "are you ok angel?" Ai asked, moving his arm over the angel's back as to support him

". . . I don't think I am. . ." Izuku mumbled, soul reached her head out and nuzzled izuku's head, as it used to cheer the angel up, but izuku just closed his eye and buried himself further in Ai's touch

Ai was silent for a moment, but when he began to speak, he was interrupted by izuku, who said something that shocked him to his core. . .

"I think. . . I think we should stay away from each other. . ."

To be honest, Ai wanted to say something to change izuku's mind, not wanting to let him go, but he stayed quiet, only holding izuku tighter, his tattered wings surrounding them

After what seemed like hours, Ai finally spoke, "if you ever need me, all you have to do is ask for me, I promise. . ." Izuku didn't show it, but he was secretly happy at the statement, as he didn't want to leave the demon, but knew it was for the best

"Ai, I want to give you something. . . I've been meaning to give it to you for awhile now"

Ai looked down at izuku in curiosity, wondering what this prolonged gift would be, he watched as izuku reached for the pendent of his dress, he seemed to whisper a phrase to quiet for Ai to hear, and suddenly a small ball of white light appeared floating softly in izuku's delicate hands

Holding the light out towards Ai, the ball seemed to take a strange form, the form of a tiny angel, one with resemblance to the demon

The tiny angel had been sleeping, but slowly woke up with a cute yawn and a stretch before rubbing their tired eyes

Obviously confused, Ai turned to izuku who smiled and simply said, "this is your brother, I made him for you, so you had company while I was away, I meant to make him a demon but i guess I have no control over that, sorry"

Ai smiled in surprise as he let izuku place the tiny angel in his gruff hands, the tiny angel looked up at the large demon before sneezing, making him fall onto his back and giggle, Ai laughed along as he rested his head on izuku's

"Does he have a name?" Ai asked, watching the tiny angel turn to his side and go back to sleep, "no, I wanted you to pick one" izuku replied, "so. . . What do you want to name him?"

Ai stayed silent, thinking, he wanted to pick the perfect name for his new brother, as he was made by someone who Ai saw as perfect

". . . What about-. . ."

"Yoichi"
