The small, rattling tuktuk bravely made its way along the streets of Koh Samui. The driver was so relaxed that nothing could disturb him. Neither honking trucks, angry scooter drivers nor jostling sports cars caused this man to even blink an eye.
His playlist of Bob Marley songs also seemed to be inexhaustible and by now the 6th or 7th song was playing since they left the hotel.

With "No Woman No Cry", they reached their destination.

They got out of the tuktuk. Ohm wanted to tip the driver, but he waved him off in a friendly manner.

"I'll do it for free for Missi Wolkov. Have a nice evening guys, I'll take you back later."

Their driver said goodbye.

'For free? Hmmm, he seemed to know Mila better than a simple driver would.' Ohm thought and considered asking Mila later.
Well, if he had the time and the nerve, since he was planning something specific that Mila and Wila wanted to help him with.

He was starting to get a little nervous, but tried to keep calm inside. Nevertheless, his right hand was clutching what he had taken out of his small travel bag earlier, excitedly and extremely tightly.

Fluke snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Wow Daddy Bear, really nice here."
He remarked and looked at the restaurant in front of which they had been dropped off.

It was right on the beach, looked like a huge beach hut and had palm leaves all over the roof.

In front of it was a huge sign facing the street showing a large red crab.

Beach Bar Restaurant and Cottages

On the beach side was a huge wooden bar, also covered in palm leaves. A few bar stools in front of it. Directly behind the bar was a huge wooden terrace with seating and tables, some of which were obviously made from flotsam and jetsam. For example, there were a few tables and chairs that seemed to be made from ship planks.

It didn't look very uniform, but extremely cozy and warm.

Everything was decorated with pretty fairy lights, nets and shells.

When stepping down from the terrace, there were a few chairs in the middle of the sand, in front of which were small, low bamboo tables that could just fit a few glasses. Guests could arrange the seating and tables however they wanted.

Lighting on the beach was provided by a few beach torches and structures made of bamboo and white fabric that looked like a kind of small Indian tent - tepees that glowed from within.

Ohm and Fluke entered the restaurant.
The crowd was a colorful mix.
Backpackers sat next to package tourists and locals. A wide variety of nations could be found and the most diverse languages could be heard.
The interior was bustling with activity.

However, there was no sign of Wila and Mila.

As they stood there, unsure of where to go, a small, elderly gentleman suddenly approached them and greeted them with a polite Wai.
He had no hair on his head and somehow looked almost like a Thai monk, although he wasn't wearing a robe, but short jeans, a Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops.
He introduced himself as the owner and asked if they were Wila and Mila's guests. They nodded and were immediately asked to follow him with a friendly smile.

They then walked through the restaurant, across the large terrace and onto the beach. There they recognized a few extra seats a short distance away. There were 4 chairs and a dining table under a kind of illuminated pavilion and a small beach fire next to it, which had a few flat bamboo benches with thick, beige-colored cushions on them. Two young women were sitting at the table. One of them looked relatively tall, even from a distance. She had spotted Ohm and Fluke, stood up, approached them, smiled and waved in a friendly manner.
