Chapter 1

"Law, this is (Name), she will be living with us along with her mother from today on" the blond man said as he lowered himself to his knees to introduce the two children.

"Cora, come on it's time to say it" your mother said placing her hands on your shoulders and looking at the man called Cora (?)

"Oh yes right- he cleared his throat a little and looked at the child with the spotted hat- Law, me and (Name)'s mom, we're getting married!"

"W-WHAT?" You and the boy you had just met screamed

You and Law were both 8 years old when you first met and it wasn't one of the best meetings of your life and then thinking about it you never met people in normal ways.

Usually most of the people you have met, you have met in embarrassing or unpleasant situations.

No one knows why but you and Corazon had the same clumsiness even though there was no kind of blood relationship between you.

As for the wedding....well it never happened.

"How can't you find her!" Corazon shouted into the phone as you and Law watched him sitting at the table.

Your mother hasn't been home for days and hasn't left any traces of herself, she took all her stuff even from your old house, the only thing she has left is a note for Corazon saying if he could be kind enough to welcome you and raise you together with Law.

You weren't sad, it often happened that he left you but came back. You weren't surprised that she didn't come back this time, at least she had the thoughtfulness to find you a home.

"I'm sorry, (Name). I couldn't find her." Corazon said as he returned to the table with his cell phone in hand and a displeased look on his face.

You didn't answer him, you just shrugged.

Your and Law's relationship was never brotherly, it was strange... like Law anyway. You could never forget your first day at your new school.

You and Law walked alone to school because luckily it was only a 5 minute walk from home.

Law walked ahead of you at a brisk pace, you tried several times to walk next to him but all he would do was increase his pace and overtake you.

You tried to take his hand to stop him, but he glared at you and yanked it away.

“Don't touch me, don't follow me and above all we are not friends” You just nodded at his words and walked with your head down behind him.

Once you got outside to the courtyard, you lost sight of Law and taking a deep breath, seeing that the courtyard was emptying, you walked through the school, until you reached the classroom where Corazon told you to go.

Outside the classroom, we could hear screams and laughter from the children.

You knocked on the door and a man with a pineapple-shaped face opened the door for you.

"Ahh, you should be (Name), right? I'm Marco, give me your hand and I'll introduce you to your new class" You followed his instructions and in a second all the other children sat down in their respective seats leaving an empty one in second class line.

"Good morning, from today on you will have a new classmate, her name is (Name) be nice to her" the class nodded and you looked at all their faces, until you spotted Law who was looking at you with slight resentment.

You still didn't understand what you did to him, but not that it mattered, you were certainly a little sorry but your mom looked at you like that too.
