Your boyfriend, Kim Taehyung, has finally been discharged from his mandatory military enlistment. It's been a rough 18 months for you so you're super excited to see him again after so long.

Through the months you've been staying at Taehyung's apartment taking care of Yeontan and keeping the place tidy.

Because of Taehyung's fame, you have a personal escort to Taehyung's military base. And so fans won't make a stir, the public released a fake discharge date so sasaengs won't try to break in.

You put on a lavender purple dress that comes down to your knees and you put on a matching purple bow in your hair. Your appearance has changed a little since you've last seen your boyfriend, but you were certain the same would be for him.

A black van picks you up. You get in and sit down in the back. Looking out the window you enjoy the calm yet long car ride. But then your phone rings.

(Jinnie Oppa is calling...)

"Hello?"

"Y/n?! Are you on your way to the base?"

"Yes, the driver just picked me up."

"Great! Me, Yoongi, and Hobi will meet you there since Jimin, Jungkook, and Namjoon are also being discharged."

You smile. "Okay, oppa. I'll see you guys there."

- 20 minutes later :: the base -

You met up with Jin, Yoongi, and Hobi as soon as you got there. You all entered through the gates and were greeted by rows and rows of soldiers standing in position with a straight face. They aren't allowed to break concentration until a loved one hugs them.

You all walked around looking for the remaining BTS members. "Guys look! There's Jimin!" Hobi points to a solider on the far end in the fourth row. You all run up and hug him tightly. He hugs yall back, silently crying.

"My family...you found me..." Jimin sniffles as he hugs everyone one by one. "Of course buddy, you look so handsome." Hobi says rubbing the youngers head.

"Do you know where we can find the others?" Yoongi asks Jimin. He nods his head, "Jungkook should be over here. We're all in ABC order." He leads the way as everyone follows him.

Jimin leads everyone to a different section of soldiers where Jungkook was standing near the back of the section. But with Jin's height he saw him quickly, "There's our maknae!" Jin points out being the first to embrace Jungkook in a big hug.

"Hyung!!" He laughs happily breaking his stance and giving Jin the biggest hug. "I missed you so much!" He smiles. Everyone else runs over and hugs their maknae. "My goodness Kook, you've gotten more buff." Yoongi says poking Jungkook's big arms.

Jungkook blushes, "Thanks. Our recent workouts have been intense. Glad it paid off." He smiles again.

"Alright alright we need to find Tae and Joon, I know Y/n is itching to see Tae now." Jin says making you blush, but he was right. "Y/n, you go find Tae and we'll find Joon hyung." Jungkook says.

You nod your head and make your way to the section of the soldiers with "ㄱ" as the last name. Which happens to be thr largest section since Kim is the most popular surname.

The soldiers around you are so much bigger than you so you looked through everyone in search of your boyfriend. After what felt like forever, one solider caught your eye. You slowly walked closer to get a better look since they were all wearing masks. Standing in front of the solider you look into his eyes.

They were Taehyung's.

You also knew it was him because as soon as he made eye contact with you his eyes filled with tears.

So you wasted no more time to wrap your arms around him and hug him tightly. "Tae...I missed you so much..." you say to him.

He literally picks you up and cries silently as he hugs you. "Oh babe...I've been waiting for this the moment since you told me goodbye..." he sniffles, burying his face in your neck feeling happy to finally hold you again.

You felt like you could hold each other forever.

"Awww~ she found him~" Jin coos at you and Taehyung hugging. Taehyung puts you down and wipes away yours and his tears before embracing his Hyungs happily. "I missed you all." He says.

"Yeah yeah but you missed Y/n more." Jimin states. "Yeah! Through almost the entire year he wouldn't stop yapping about how when you get back you'd marry Y/n and get her pre-"

Jimin and Namjoon cover his mouth. "Shhh!!"

You turn bright red and look at Taehyung. He chuckles with embarrassment. "Let's just go home first." He says giving you a loving peck on your lips. Your smile returns as you two hold hands and leave the military base. Hopefully forever.
