The young long haired brunette girl with a soft round face sat at the top of the roof near The Last Drop watching how her first love played with her best friend. Her cheeks flushed by the action of the eleven year old melanated skin boy all she could do was wish it was her who had his attention. "Hey Little man!! Hey Powder!!" She ran toward her best friends "I want to play too!" She exclaimed with a closed eyed grin.

The burnette had started her way to The Last Drop in search of her best friend which became a daily routine yet it was different today when she had suddenly seen her walk out with Mylo, Clogger, and Vi. "Where are you guys heading?!" Her curiosity won over her "Shhh" Vi grimace to having their cover blown. Vi got a hold of her shoulder lowering down to her height "We have a mission don't tell anyone.Got it?" "Got it" the young girl responded with confidence .Vi left right after giving her a small smile and a pat on her back.
Walking back to the empty house a few blocks away from Benzo's Shop she wished to bump it the boy who made her stomach do flips. As if the universe heard her pleads she was tackled by a big hug from behind "Aaaaa Little Man get off me!!!" "Heyy Toots what are you doing" "I already told you to stop calling me that" her frustration and annoyance could be seen by the popping vain on her forehead as he laughed his ass off " I'm heading home and stop jumping on me out of nowhere it's scary" " No, it's funny" his eyes closed and cheeks flushed with a crimson red from all the laughter he said " Hang out with me Toots I have to take care of the shop and the guys already left" With a blank face hiding the butterflies in her stomach moving 100 miles an hour she said yes.
Hours later Ekko was standing behind the counter and Y/N was laying on the floor too invested in her daydream to acknowledge what the young boy was doing. Until a soothing high-pitch lullaby was heard from where the boy was seated. Releasing Y/N from her day dream she stood right next to Ekko just to see a beautiful music box with carvings you would only see in the historical carvings out of marble. The music box was made out of wood with a fresh gloss layer "Where did you find it it's pretty? Did you make it? Are you going to sell it? I'll buy it!!" Y/N was more than astonished by the beautiful crafted music box she would love to have it. All Ekko could do was chuckle at the sudden outburst and the girl's rambling "I found it on my way to the shop a while ago" he smiled at her as he finished the last layer of gloss "Sooo??" Y/N asked with raised eyebrows and an eger voice "What are you going to do with it?? Ekko tried to brush off the question "It's a gift for someone" Y/N wasn't going to let him off so easily. As much as it hurt her knowing he liked Powder he was still her friend and would love to tease him about a crush. "Is It for a girl??!" Her voice became more loud and teasing as she stood up straight and slammed her hands on the counter "it is!!!" Ekko just looked away trying to hid his steaming red face. "Look at you all shy. There is a girl!! Who is it tell meee" she dragged the mee as she leaned to see his face. Ekko hadn't told anyone about his little crush on the blue hair girl and he was planning on keeping it that way but he had no idea Y/N could be really annoying. "Drop it I ain't telling you" he tried to push the girl away from him "Come on tell mee" Ekko shut his eyes, crossed his arms, pouted, and shook his head "N.O. you don't know how to keep a secret". "Yes I do!!" Ekko walked away from the counter to the shelf filled with books ignoring the girl's statement. The next ten minutes the shop was filled with Y/N's voice repeating "Tell me, tell me, who" Ekko could no longer take it so he whipped his head to look at her from the shelf and said "Promise" the girl who was also tired of repeating her self sat straight from her former croched position and with pure excitement she exclaimed "Pinky Promise!!!" As she raised her pinky up high. She already knew who it was for and she somewhat regretted doing a whole scene. Ekko walked towards her and stood across the counter and locked the pinky promise as he looked away he mumbled "Powder, it's for her" Although Y/N already knew it was for her she still felt a pang in her heart causing her facade to falter for a second "Ooooo Little Man!!!" She teasingly shoved his shoulder "Stop it" Ekko shyly said " Do you think she'll like it" " She should-" their attention was caught by the opening door of the shop revealing a teenage boy with a toddler by the hand
"Hey Little Man. Eyy Y/N it's time to go home Dad and Mom are about to get out of work." With that she walked towards her brothers and bid her good bye to little man "Bye" As she stepped out of the shop she heard "See you Toots" she was faced with Ekko and his cocky smirk knowing he had hit a nerve "Fuc-" her brother had pulled her out before she started cussing him out. "We have to get home soon before it gets darker." Y/N hadn't noticed she had spent all day at the shop with Ekko "Why? What is the rush?" "Some undercity kids involved in an explosion at Piltover made the enforcers more aggressive." The rest of the walk home was quiet and more cautious than ever. Not once did Y/N thought this was the last day she would see Ekko, Mylo, Clagger, and the sisters.
