tiny a/n - guyss i didn't get grounded or nothing fortunately, i also wanna try to upload atleast 2 chapters per week sooo, thought i would try to do one rn. (it's 1 am on a school night and i'm bored.) 

kira pov

starting the story where it left off... 

"hey, you okay?" javon asked thinking i was scared of the ride but in reality i was scared of him. not really of him but what he has power of and what he's capable of. i know he can and most likely will hurt me but if i get out of this quick enough i wont suffer hurt.

"yes, i'm fine just a little scared of the ride." i lied. it's almost as he saw right through it because after he asked, "are you sure kira?". "positive, what's next?" i said trying to change the subject. mainly because i really love the fair and i wanted to enjoy it with javon. 

the guy who talked to me for i don't know what reason. the guy who is very beautiful and attractive. the guy who is amazing and talented at acting and boxing wants to talk to me. the captain of the school varsity soccer team, the girl who is alternative, the girl who keeps quiet and to herself. 

i can't seem to enjoy this fair date because of my thoughts. i shake my head in hope the thoughts go away but they just stay, until javon spoke up. "ma, are you okay? you're very quiet." he said in a calm tone. 

" yes von, i'm okay." i said letting out nervous giggles. i think he saw through them though, seeing that it kinda covered up my excuse but he knew. he dropped it and held my hand while we waiting in line for the next ride. 

(sorry guys, i've never been to the fair so i don't know any of the rides but you can hopefully use you imagination and picture them on that ride.) 

time skip after the ride.

me and javon had gotten off the ride, having alot of fun because i forgot about the whole situation. that was until we saw his group of friends. shit.

javon is very much popular and hangs out with 10/10s. myself i would say i'm a 6/10 so i was kinda embarrassed when we saw them. "i'm sorry kira, just go along with what i say, okay?" he said. "okay von." i said. "yoooo wanna" a guy yelled as we walked up to them seeing them with very pretty girls.  

"what's upp" javon said to the group. "did you come with her ?" his friend said almost questioning us like if something was wrong with me. then it hit me, or atleast i thought it did. my outfit, i'm usually not this alternative at school. 

javon POV

shit why would he say that, hes making it obvious this is a bet. "yeah man of course." i tried to play it cool. hoping she wouldn't notice. luckily she changed the subject kinda. "hi, i'm kira" she said. "i know who you are babe." my friend alex started. "it's hard to miss you with that ass of yours." he said. i clenched my jaw as i started getting really mad for some reason. 

i could tell she was uncomfortable so i held her hand and just walked away. we walked to a less crowded area and sat on a bench. "kira, i'm really sorry, hes a jerk." i said. i didn't feel nervous until i seen her looking at my left eye then my right, switching off between them. "ma, what are you doing?" i said confused. 

it's weird to say but my stomach felt nauseous but in a good way. i slowly closed my eyes and leaned in. i felt nervous that she would reject me but i finally felt her soft lips on mine. she pulled away which made my eyes open. her eyes look happy but also scared. 

"uh javon i need to go home." kira said. "what why?" i questioned her. upset because i really did want to hangout with her. i mean even though its a bet she's a really pretty, funny, delightful, down to earth girl. i like everything about her. "javon let's go back to my house and i need to talk to you." she said in a serious tone. 

"yeah okay." i said standing up. we were walking back to the car and she slipped her hand into mine. i looked at her blushing. cute. "you drive or i drive?" she asked. "i'll drive." i said in a deep voice. 

"i thought you didn't know the way home?" she asked giggling. i laughed back and stayed silent. "YOU LIAR" she yelled. i laughed, opening her passenger seat door. "i just wanted to see if you could drive, you know?" i made up a random excuse

"mm okay whatever." she said giggling. her laugh was so cute. driving she took a picture of the steering wheel and i looked at her funny. "what are you doing?" i asked. "nothinggg just drive wanna." she said trying not to giggle. "you're cute." i said loud enough for her to hear but very quietly. she clearly heard me cause she started giggling. 

kira POV

"you're cute." javon said quietly but i heard him. i giggled and blushed but luckily he didn't look my way. i turned on our favorite song, "always" by daniel caesar and looked at him to see his reaction. "our song." his said while smiling. 

at this moment, it felt so surreal that javon liked me, and he was making me happy. he pulled up to my house and we sat in the driveway for a bit, before i was going to go inside my house and he would leave. "noo i don't want you to go." he said sadly. i giggled and said back, "do you want to come inside?" 

"isn't your dad inside?" javon asked. "no hes out for the weekend on a trip so the house is empty." i told him. he didn't smirk weridly, but he smiled as if he was happy about it. "yeah, let's go inside." javon said.

time skip...

it was 2 hours later, we were on the couch cuddling under a blanket watching tiktok because the movie we had watched ended. i suddenly got the urge to ask him what he's doing, with us. 

"javon, why are you doing this." i said in a serious but quiet tone. "doing what? on titkok? did you want to do something else?" he kept asking.

 "no javon, what are you doing with us? why all the sudden did you start talking to ME, when you have all those beautiful blondes who would kill to be with you, you javon walton, a boxer, and actor, the most handsome popular boy at our school want to be with me?" 

i automatically knew this was a joke when he sat there in shook, with his eyes wide open. he almost looked like he wanted to say something but just sat there quiet with his eyes still widen staring into my now watery eyes. i got up and locked myself in the bathroom.

 javon followed behind me knocking on the door calling my name as i sat on the other side of the door on the bathroom floor balling my eyes out because i knew this was too good to be true.

"javon, was i just a bet." i said through the other side of the door, crying. 

"kira..."

a/n - THANK YOU GUYS FOR 200+ READS OVERALL. i really do appreciate every single one of you. sorry for the delay of the new chapter, i started this i believe 2 nights ago and i would've finished yesterday but i was busy. i also had AWFUL writers block. and now that it's another 3 day weekend, i atleast want to post another chapter by monday. this story is getting JUICY ASF. stay tuned, love you!!
