The Voice Kids was on again. I excitedly watched it with my parents and little brother.

But one audition caught my eye. His story was actually kind of heart breaking, you know, wanting to be an engineer to fix his house.

Anyways, after his audition, I texted him.

I put my phone down and smiled like an idiot. That's when I realized Caitlyn was in this room, watching me.

"Okay, I'll go home and change." Caitlyn said. Did I mention she was my neighbor?

I nodded and chose what dress to wear. I had settled on a dress mom got me for special occasions.
