The sisters were still wary, but they tried to remain calm as they addressed the witch. "We were just exploring the woods near our home," Jade said. "We didn't mean to trespass in your domain."
The witch nodded, her face hidden in the shadows. "I see," she said. "Then perhaps you would like to stay for a while. I am always looking for new friends, and you seem like you could be interesting company."
The sisters exchanged a glance, unsure if they should accept the witch's offer. On one hand, they were intrigued by the strange and mysterious objects they had seen in the chamber. But on the other hand, they were afraid of what the witch might do to them if they stayed.
"We're not sure..." Paris began, but before she could finish, the witch cut her off.
"Do not worry," she said. "I will not harm you. But I must warn you, once you enter my domain, you cannot leave until I say so."
