**Chapter Eleven: The Unacceptable Truth **

As Pete and Niko engaged in a tumultuous struggle, Tan, weary of the escalating turmoil, discreetly slipped away from the battlefield. Seeking solace amidst the tombstones, he found himself before the resting place of his daughter, gently placing her favorite tulips on the tomb.

In the tranquil embrace of the graveyard, a hand tenderly rested on Tan's shoulder, and he turned to find Pete standing there. The silence between them spoke volumes, and without exchanging words, Tan rose, ready to depart. Pete's grip tightened, offering to escort Tan home.

*Tan:* Let go, Pete. There's nothing left to say.

*Pete:* Tan, please. I just want to talk.

*Tan:* We have nothing to talk about.

The journey back was laden with unspoken emotions. Unbeknownst to them, Niko, fueled by a mixture of confusion and anger, trailed behind. The car's interior encapsulated a heavy atmosphere as it traversed the dimly lit streets.

As Tan prepared to leave Pete's car, Pete seized the moment, planting a kiss on Tan's lips.

*Tan:* (pushing Pete away) It's better to stay in your limit, Pete. Don't take advantage of this situation.

*Pete:* (defensive) Tan, what do you mean? Don't I have the rights to kiss you?

*Tan:* Shut up, Pete. Everything is over, and there's nothing to discuss.

In the midst of this silent turmoil, Taw, silently observing from the shadows, muttered to himself, "Niko, it's you who doesn't know anything about Pete and Tan..." Three minutes later, Taw made a crucial call to Niko, urging him to come back home.

*Taw:* Niko, I've sent every detail to you. But, it's better if you come back home.

*Niko:* Don't worry, I'm already there.

*Taw:* Niko, I hope you won't regret your decision.

Upon receiving the information, Niko, baffled and conflicted, opened the email to uncover a startling revelation.

*Niko:* Pete and Tan are married... but how and why? Why are they living separately? Why did he forcibly kiss Tan today? Why did Tan have dinner with me? Did he use me or what?

*Taw:* (advising) Stop it, Niko. Don't blame Tan before knowing everything. Turn and look at the next page. Check if it's you who is at fault or if it's him.

As Niko reluctantly turned to the next page, he was met with the image of a little girl. Stunned and speechless, he grappled with the realization that Tan, Pete, and this child were intricately connected. The past, hauntingly resurfaced, refused to release its grip on Niko's present.

As Forbidden Love delved deeper into the complexities of relationships, the characters found themselves entangled in a web of emotions, secrets, and the unrelenting force of karma.
