Isobel gently caressed my hand, grabbing it while sitting up to look at me eye-level, "why do you think the world is so against us?" she said. I sat for a second to think. "Our love is rebellion we are rewriting their rules. Instead of choosing to live the life they planned for us we made our own plans." she hesitated before she said "Everyone thinks it's against what God stands for. Do you think we're foolish for wanting this to work?" I was scared. Her words pierced my brain. She's having second thoughts I think to myself. I can't let her see how weak she makes me. "No, we are not the ones to be called fools. They are. anyone who can't accept love for what it is, shall be foolish. Never let anyone control your mind, belle." she sighed "You're right, I'm sorry. What will we do when they try to strip our love away?" I kept her face as I said, my last words of the night, "we hold on, hold on as tight as we can. We face every challenge together. Never face anything alone." She smiled as I kissed her forehead goodnight. We parted ways as we left and went home.
