Haneul stood Infront of Seoul police headquarters debating on whether to go in or not as she carried a lunchbox while biting her lip getting extremely nervous and scared while trying her best to gather up courage

Ever since she left jeon corporation and promise to never return she has kept that promise

And the reason why she acted the way she did was because her dad more like her step dad is forcing her to seduce Jungkook so he can use her to trap him and optain all his money

And he even threaten to kill her mom if she didn't do as he says and she had no choice because she didn't want to lose the only person she care about after her dad and she was completely shattered when she found out that her step dad was the one who killed her real dad that he wasn't an accident she was devastated but she didn't let that stop her and started gathering evidence against him while still making him think she doesn't know anything

After she left Jungkook's office that day she stayed at a friend's house and with her friends help they were able to gather enough evidence and now Mr choi is in jail and she can't be happier that she got her mom back and her real father's company and that why she didn't want Jungkook to distroy the only memory and hard work of her dad

So she now took over the company and change the name not wanting it to have that murderers name

It felt like life is now perfect but one thing is still missing which is her mate

Truthfully she did not reject her mate but she lied to him that she didn't love him to keep him safe from her dad because she knows how dangerous he is and she didn't want him to kill the man she had been waiting for all her life

So she lied to her step dad that she rejected him to keep him safe and that day she had cried endlessly in her room because she was already feeling affection for her mate and seeing the hurt in his eyes when she told him she didn't want him, it hurt her really bad as she feel her heart break but she didn't have a choice

Now that she is free she is back to correct her mistake by getting back together with her alpha

Which she has been doing for the past five months by bringing the alpha food everyday and apologizing none stop

But the alpha was still angry and  didn't accept her apology and even always insult her Infront of his workmates and friends but she didn't get angry because she knows it is her fault

Don't you know that"and then jay started explaining what happen to her and after he finished Jackson just felt like killing himself for acting that way towards her

Oh no oh no why didn't you tell me all this before jay"he asked annoyed at his friend

Because she didn't want me to, she wanted to fix it her own way

oh no what have I done"he ran out of the office and out of the station

He ran out and immediately see his beautiful adorable mate seating outside and crying her heart out

He move close to her and when she notice his presence she look up and immediately wipe her tears

Am sorry I will leave now

She was about to leave but he hold her hand and pull her to him and hug her waist tightly

She put her hand and head on his  chest and started crying already loving her alpha's embrace
