Lorena's POV:

I wake up to the sound of birds chirping. I slept so soundly last night that I wake up full of energy. I put my boots on and neatly fix my bed. I fix my hair a little with a comb that was placed on the night table next to my bed. As I'm finishing up I see Dante walking up to me. I stand up and smile at him.

"Goodmorning Dante!"

He smiles at me.

Dante: "Goodmorning Lorena, I wanted to inform you and Laurence that the trade ship is about to dock soon. I'm not sure if you wanted to see Malachi right off the ship or wait until he settled in."

"... Does he know I'm back?"

Dante: "No. No one who was aboard the trade ship knows you are here. We don't have a means to send messages via birds anymore. Levin and I wanted to leave this decision up to you and Laurence if he's planning on seeing them."

"Who else is with him?"

Dante: "Alexis, Kyle, and Logan had journeyed to Nahakra Village, so you can expect to meet them too. What do you say?"

"Can I talk to Laurence about this first?"

Dante: "Of course. I'll let you decide on what course of action you wish to take. I will keep my distance to afford him the respect of being with you and Laurence. Good luck, Lorena."

"Thank you Dante."

He nods his head as he walks toward the latter and climbs down. I decide it's best to talk to Laurence about this but first I want to check on everyone and see how they're doing. I start with Emmalyn who's sitting on her bed reading some papers.

"Hi Emmalyn."

She looks at me and smiles.

Emmalyn: "Ah! Lord Lorena! I found some of my old documents but some of the important ones went missing... odd. I wonder if anyone has them here in town."

"Um... you don't need to call me "Lord" anymore."

She stares at me with blank eyes.

Emmalyn: "I forget... hm, well then... let me know what you prefer for me to call you when you decide what you want to be called. I'm sorry it's just... I'm so used to calling you that... my apologies."

"It's okay."

She nods her head and goes back to reading. I look toward Kenmur who's looking over the tree fencing.

Kenmur: "Hm, I wonder if anyone saved my old research documents or inventions..."

I decide to leave them be and check on someone else. Hopefully Kenmur and Emmalyn will be able to find more of their stuff. If not I'm sure they're smart enough to make more. I see Katelyn drinking some tea as she looks over the ocean. I also hear her talking aloud.

Katelyn: "What a quaint little Guard Tower... This place is very relaxing and soothing to the soul. I've always felt in attunement with nature... heh, we are from nature... why wouldn't we all?"

I smile and decide to leave her to continue relaxing. I turn around and in the corner of my eye I see something. I look up to see the Mysterious Man standing on a higher branch of the tree. I think he feels me staring at him because he looks down at me.

???: "... What? Don't you have somewhere to be?"

I roll my eyes playfully and walk towards Laurence to see him looking at the ship by the dock.
