MK's POV

Shit. It's almost Valentine's day. What the hell am I supposed to get Julia? We've been dating for a couple months, so this is our first Valentine's Day together. I've never had a romantic partner before, or a valentines just in general. I've never done this before! And I'm freaking out.
I don't want to ask someone else for advice. Sure, I could ask Millie or Raj. They'd know. Since they both have a romantic partner.

Julia's POV

Fantastic. Valentine's day is, er, actually tomorrow and I still haven't gotten MK shit.
I know she likes gaming and stealing.. But what else does she like? I got her gaming stuff for her birthday and I don't think there's anything to buy for thievery. I'd probably go to jail if I even tried. I mean, I could ask Millie what the hell she likes.

Ugh. I pull out my phone and text Millie.

Millie

Julia: millie what does mk like

Millie: What? Shouldn't you know this?

Julia: just tell me

Millie: She likes video games.

Julia: uh ik. 😐😐 what else does she like

Millie: She likes stuffed animals.

Julia: thanks loser

Jesus. That was annoying. Whatever, at least I know what to get MK now.

MK's POV

I've been thinking for three fuckin' hours about what I should get her and I still haven't figured it out. What the hell do people normally get their partners? Flowers?
Wait. Flowers! I can get her flowers! Holy shit. Finally I figured out what to get Julia.

Time skip

I'm at the store now. I hope they have actual hood flowers, not those cheap shitty ones.
Would Julia like roses? Dandelions? Tulips? Uh. Don't certain flowers have specific meanings?
I pull out my phone to look it up.

Yeah. They do.
Red flowers represent love, so I'll just get her roses. I hope she likes it.

Time skip, the next day.

Julia's POV

It's Valentines Day today. MK is coming over to my house in half a hour actually.
I got her a stuffed bear and some chocolates.
This is going to be a train wreck.

Since I've already cleaned my house,, I'll just relax for now.

MK's POV

It's Valentine's Day today. I'm on my way to Julia's house with the flowers. I felt kind of awkward only bringing flowers, so I also got her a bracelet. It's not a cheap one but it isn't too expensive either. I hope she likes it.

Half an hour later

I knock on Julia's door.
....

After a moment of waiting, she opens the door.

Julia's POV

"Hi MK!" I smile at MK. I see her blushing.

"Hey Julia.." MK responds, not as enthusiastic. She's clearly nervous.

MK takes a deep breath and hands me flowers. Roses to be exact.
"For you."

I down at her. Our height difference is seriously drastic.

"Oh-.. I- thank you.." I stammer with my words while taking the flowers.
She smiles at me as I feel my face heating up.

I move out of the way and welcome her inside.

MK's POV

As I walk inside Julia's house,, I quickly take notice on how clean her house is. It's nice, really!

She sits on her couch and pats the spot next to her for me to sit. I do.

"I also got you something else." I speak softly.

Julia perks up and looks at me. I smile at her again.
"What is it?"

"Not much."
I pull out the bracelet from my pocket and hand it to her.

The bracelet was pastel pink, not too vibrant and not too dull. It was decorated with white stars.
She takes it from me and examines it.

As I watch in anticipation, her face lights up.

She slips it on her wrist.
"Thank you, MK. It's great." I nod, satisfied with her reaction.

"I, uh." Julia starts to speak.

Instead of continuing her sentence, she hands me a bag.
"You got me a bag?" I joke while laughing slightly.

She rolls her eyes. "Just..- Just look inside it."
Smiling, I roll my eyes as well.

I throw the, foil- thing out. Never knew what that was.
I look inside it. Chocolate? Score!

"Sweet! Th-"
"That's not all, there's something else inside the bag as well." She cuts me off.

I look back inside the bag and see the stuffed bear.

I roll my eyes.
"Are you making fun of me for Theodore?"

Julia shakes her head no.
"Millie said you like stuffed animals in general."

Oh, that makes sense.

Julia's POV

She seemed to like what I got her, especially the chocolate.
As kiddy as the bracelet is, I actually kind of like it. I can tell it's not over the top expensive or completely cheap. It's nice.
And I love the roses.

The rest of the day plays out great. But nothing worth mentioning.
Overall, it wasn't that much of a train wreck I'd thought it was gonna be.
