The return

Chapter 2:

Arius now works as a lawyer at a corporate law firm after graduating valedictorian from Harvard law school. He is name partner in a law firm named Neve Fisher Owen Carter. Arius is walking in when a white woman in a black dress holding a coffee walked up and said "Arius have you hired a God Damn associate yet"

" Marisa Fisher no I haven't I have one more interview today I'm sure they will be the one I hire so you can get off my back" Arius said.

"You were supposed to have an associate 3 months ago" Marisa said

 "Well today is different" Arius said as he formed a massive grin on his face.

As they get on the elevator Marisa says "Lilith get on your ass didn't she" Arius' grin would disappear because she was right.  Marisa seemed to gain the smile Arius' lost. They remained silent as they went to the top floor. Arius walked to his office as a woman walked up he said "Is she here yet Emma"

"Yes she is in your office but don't be a dick to her like the others Lilith will be pissed if she called in a favor for nothing and Sofia doesn't need you to be a dick" Emma said as she started walking with Arius.

"Relax I'm gonna hire her if she's a good fit, which I believe her to be" Arius said as he walked into his office and shut the door behind him and Emma sat at her desk. He interviewed Sofia and toward the end he asked "anything I should know before I hire you"

She hesitated before saying "no not anything I know"

He would look her in the eyes and ask "what are you keeping from me unless you didn't go to law school it should be fine" she wouldn't respond "you didn't go to law school well ok what we are gonna do is your start date is 3 weeks from today Emma is gonna send an application in to the bar for a meeting all you have to do is prove you know you're shit and that you're a half decent person it should be next Friday. I'd say noon one of the members owes me a favor he can have it expedited since its on short notice. If I'm correct the email will be sent now and she is picking up the phone to call my friend" Emma would turn around and realize that for the last part of what he said all he did was look through the glass she would then say "thank you this means a lot since you guys only hire from Harvard".

"Well go prepare I will give you a call a day before the hearing" he said as she left. Arius had meetings and conducted a normal day. When he gets back to his apartment he heard loud noises coming from the bedroom when he entered he saw Lilith cheating on him. He would leave as Lilith saw him as chase him "wait its not what it looks like". Arius would just respond with a middle finger before he kept walking and left.
