Day one — Monday.
“(Y/n)!” The familiar chant of the your name made you return your head, eyeing the environment in confusion until your sights were set on a familiar pair of blue ones. You let out a chuckle at the image of your friend's ginger swirly hair bobbing up and down as she skipped over to you, holding a beaming smile.
“Hey Lils, how come your alone, where's Jim?”
You questioned, your brow raising at the realisation upon the absent identical twin. The redhead before you sighed, almost in relief at the mention. “Don't you worry, my dazzling (Y/N).” Lily cooed sweetly, her arm slinging around the shorter girls shoulder as they continued their route to school. “He got down with a fever, you know. 'Mr. Lip's History Test Fever'.” she giggled, noticing you shake your head and dawn a small smile.
“Well, everyone gets it. Every year, at least a few people. Unless your like me, and smart.” You smirked smugly, your eyebrows wigging as the girl besides you pouted with a dramatic huff, showcasing her annoyance at the fact her friend was in fact quite high on her education and intellect.
“Yeah, yeah. Well— oh right! Did you hear?” Lily spoke, her voice lowering as she turned her full attention to the new topic. You shrugged against Lily's touch, proving her lack of interest and knowledge about the new rumor.
“There Student Council students are the same! Can you believe it, three years in a row and nobody has bothered to step up and become the new members—” Lily rambled, blabbering on about how it was ridiculous and how she didn't even get the point of the student council, finding it annoying and a total fun bust.
You piped in every now and then, chuckling at her friend's complete bizarre antics and accusations she professed.
When the duo made it to the school entrance, a place that's school quote was literally 'A place of Wonders'. It was quite the cheap scape, despite the various rich families the place hoarded.
“Hey guys,” another familiar voice spoke up, both girls turning to find another one of their friends leaning on the gate entrance. The white haired boy grinning at the sight of the two smiling.
They had just recently met the guy, Louis. Both him and you locking eyes and darting to look elsewhere with a smile.
“Hey Moron.” Lily chuckled, ruffling the man's locks while he protested, swatting the gingers hands away from his 'glorious hair' that 'didn't deserve this 'abuse'.
While the two friends pestered each other, you walked past them with a smile, enduring second hand embarrassment as other students began to stare, the awkward environment blossoming around the air until you opened the front doors to the school.
Once you opened them, the clear halls caught your vision, empty and shiny as always to keep their upright status.
“Always the same.” You mumbled, partly relieved that nothing had majorly changed to the point it would be an ache. You darted your eyes around the hallways before your feet moved on their own, as if on instinct, towards your locker, wanting to rid of all your heavy stuff for the day.
You eventually did, without any... disturbances, to your relief. You quickly tapped open the side, due to the fact it was a crappy locker and had to be opened in a certain way, the metal slamming open and revealing its contents.
