NINA'S POV:
I yawned as I continued to brush my teeth, Mama walked in sitting on the toilet as she peed "I'm going to the store is there anything you wanted?" mama said looking at me as she wiped herself "um- ou- a pack of fruit roll-ups or some gummies" I said walking out the bathroom since I was done.
"Firefly you ready?" Meline said putting on her shoes and I nodded putting on mine also, I had taken down the braids, so my hair was in a slick back bun. we walked outside and down the stairs "tag your it" I said to Kennie before me and Meline took off running "oh you guys are cheaters" he said running after us.
We ran over to a park bench seeing the people we saw yesterday I waved and kept running. Meline was it so now the both chased me and Kennie tackeld me to the ground, I saw Meline and Kennie look over as kids they age waved them over
"you guys can go have fun" I said looking at them "you sure Bug?" Meline said looking at me but I just nodded, so they went over there while walked over to the kids on the bench "hey, I'm Nina" I said waving at them "I'm Mooney and that's Scooty" the girl said
The next day, we were eating breakfast when we heard someone knocking on the door like crazy and my mama opened the door "yes?" she said speaking to whoever was on the other side of the door "can Nina come out and play?" the familiar voice spoke, my mama turned around 'Bug, you want to go play?" my mama asked looking at me and I nodded walking to the door, my mama gave me a kiss on the cheek and told me to be safe.
We went and picked up another girl named Jancey and started walking somewhere "hey guys, don't you live over there" Jancey said looking at us "yeah but we got something to show you" Mooney said looking at us still walking and I shrugged following them.
we walked past a place called 'Orange world' "I don't- I don't love oranges, I love orange soda.... we-we swoosh" Scooty said as we walked past the building. " The only thing I don't like about oranges is the lid" he said looking straight "you mean the peel" Jancey said looking at him "the lid" he argued back "yeah, that's called the peel" she argued back.
we walked past another place, but this one is called 'gift shop" with a wizard between the words "don't you think we're going too far" Jancey says "No. just come on, don't be a- don't be a loser" Mooney says waving her to come on "don't call me that, but okay" Jancey says back running forward with me giggling behind her.
we walked past a place called Twistee ice-cream "and this is where we get free ice cream" Mooney said to me and Jancey "really?" me and Jancey said at the same time "yeah" both Mooney and Scooty said "follow me" Mooney said walking towards the building and we followed her.
