Yeonjun sighed anxiously. A week. It's been more than a week since he last saw Soobin.

He just disappeared.

The mortal wouldn't lie he was worried sick about the soul. The last encounter with Soobin was before he suddenly had a breakdown falling asleep afterwards. But, after waking up, the soul was just gone.

Where did he go?

Did.... he leave?

Yeonjun couldn't help but worry about the fact that Soobin had already left the earth permanently, even his soul going away fully. All those thoughts ate up his mind like hungry wolves, but the next moment his thoughts were cut off when suddenly his breath seemed to get stuck at his throat causing him to cough harshly.

Tears welled up in his eyes from the coughing.

But then a hand rubbed circles on his back wanting to provide him comfort. Yeonjun hurriedly looked back expecting the soul he was missing so badly to only to get .... slightly disappointed.

It was Berry.

"Are you okay oppa?" She asked with a Genuinely concerned tone still her hands rubbing soothing circles on his back. Yeonjun again cleared his throat finally able to breathe again taking in the cool air in.

He just nodded soundlessly with a very faint smile.

Berry despite the fact was very young to exactly understand what the older male was feeling at the moment but she was mature enough to see through that faint weak smile. She could only give a look full of sympathy and pitied the older male.

"Do you want anything oppa? I can tell mom to make you something. You also haven't eaten since morning." Yeonjun wanted o deny but now his hunger had passed his tolerance level.

"Sure.. You can tell Mrs. Kim to make me something. I am actually a little hungry."

Scratch that. He was very hungry.

But he continued to hide it anyways.

Berry smiled at that and nodded eagerly.

"Sure!! I will go then." Yeonjun smiled at that and just turned around to face his table, while Berry was about to leave the room but only stopped for a moment to look around questionably.

"Where is Soobin oppa?" She thought to herself. Even when she looked around to find the soul but failed anyways. She just stole another glimpse of the older male who looked visibly very upset and low-key depressed.

Quitely, she left the room.

She just sighed and prayed internally that Yeonjun will be fine soon.

The missing soul now currently sat right at the edge of an isolated mountain valley. There were no humans around that place, so he had the place all to himself. Peaceful and extremely quite.

But there were no breathing sound heard obviously.

"Are you gonna leave that mortal alone soobin?" Casper questioned now currently in it's visible form. The soul heard the query but ignored it as usual not uttering a single word in response.
