I had been going there for years without ever knowing she was there. I guess it wasn't our time yet. But when our time came, nothing was like it was before. Life had presented its hopes and transitioned to new fears and showed itself worth it. Worth her.

I had been going there for years without ever knowing I wasn't alone. I guess I wasn't ready yet. When I gained readiness, however, everything changed. Life presented its new fears and gave me a sense of hope I hadn't possessed before and showed itself worth it. Worth him.

Author's Note

Hello, fellow readers! I'd like to start by saying that while I am quite new to Wattpad and its fixings, I have a passion for writing. I just love watching my characters bloom as the story delves deeper.

That being said, this is the second story I have planned to publish on Wattpad, but I found the first one, Silver Linings, to be just a bit too mediocre at the moment, so it'll be a while before it is published.

However, when I found out about the Watty's 2015, I just knew I had to give it a shot with Riparian. I've been working on it and, so far, I think the characters are better developed than those in Silver Linings, as are the concepts.

The main problems I'm facing, though, are getting the ball rolling and getting Riparian out there; I don't know how I'm going to let people know about my entry. I'm glad the Watty's don't judge based on reads! Right?

I will quit droning and let you read the story. Please enjoy Riparian, and don't forget to give feedback!
