CHAPTER 4 : DATE⁉️

I woke up very late in the morning . I brushed my teeth and I was gonna change . Someone knocked on the door . "Jezi, are you there " Michelle asked
I opened the door when I came to know that it's Michelle.
"I know I'm super late , you don't have to wait for me . You'll also be late if you do " I said while looking for the dress I should wear
"Where are you going " she asked me
"What ? You're not going to school"
"Seriously Jezi . Look at your phone today is Saturday . Have you lost your mind "
"Huh. Today is Saturday?" I asked her
"Yep "
"Then why am I still up , I wanna sleep😴"
"Wait , Jezi you can't sleep"
"Why ?"
"We're going out today "
"What ? Why ?"
"What do you mean by that? You haven't seen any places here and Jonathan said you wanted to buy so many things . "
"Oh yeah . But can we go tomorrow "
"Nope today itself "
"Can't you see that I'm super exhausted "
"Really ?"
"Fine I'll come"
We went to see some famous places first . She showed so many places . I was so happy .
"Thank you Michelle " I said
"You don't have to . Remember we are bffs " she replied
"Don't you have a date with Jonathan today?"
"How did you know ? "
"I just guessed . That's what couples do in movies and series "
"I see you' ve watched so many movies and series huh ."
"Yeah , maybe "
We went to shopping after that .
"Oh he's here " she said
"Who?" I asked
"Jonathan."
" What why's he here?"
"Coz we have a date "
"What ? Where will I go then?"
"Don't worry Jezi he'll accompany you "
"Who?"
"Look yourself "
'it was Noah '
"What is he doing here ?" I asked her
"He came accompany you and I think he also came for shopping "
"What?"
"Hey , cousin " Jonathan said
"Bye "
" Where are you going " Jonathan asked
"To buy some things " I replied
"He'll accompany you " he said pushing Noah
"Yeah , thanks "
"You're welcome. And..... You should call me when you're done , I'll drop you "
Noah is so talkative . He'll talk so much . I won't get bored when I'm with him . He walked with me . He didn't say a word .
"Where to ?" I asked
"Uh." He looked at me
" I mean which shop first " I said
"Wherever you go " he replied
He seemed so down . What had happened to him? Why is he not talkative today ?
"Noah" I called him
"Who ? Umm.... What ?" He asked
"What happened ?"
"Oh , nothing Jez"
"No , definitely there's something . You don't have to tell me if you can't but you can't be so down when you're with me "
" Yeah , thanks "
He smiled a little .
" And...... Don't you wanna know about me . One thing a day . " I reminded him
" Oh yeah , I forgot " he replied
" Soo.... What do you wanna know today "
"Umm....... 🤔 Tell me about your family "
"Uh. Ok . I have a mother and a father and a brother "
"Oh you have a brother "
"Yeah"

"And what ? "
"Come on Jez I didn't ask who are the members . I asked you to tell me about them what is their job and something like that ."
"Really ? "
"Yep"
" My dad and mom used to be music band "
" Wow it's so cool . Which is the band ?"
"I don't know that much about it . I heard that they were in a band that's all and they now owns a restaurant. Don't ask more about them. "
"Oh I'm sorry "
"Don't be "
"You want a coffee "
"What ?"
"We're in front of Starbucks . It's on me , I'll treat you "
"For what ?"
"For my happiness"
" Really ?"
"Nah just joking . Come on Jez ."
He took my hand and we went inside the shop .
We sat there .
"Can I ask about you brother " he asked
"Yes "
"Okay . What's he doing ?"
"He's younger than us . He's studying. He's 14"
"Dude that's cool "
" Huh not at all . And tell me about yours "
" Uhh... My mom passed away 6 years ago. "
"I'm sorry "
" You don't have to . After mom's death my dad married a gold digger lady with a kid . "
"I'm sorry "
"I told you that you don't have to."
"What happened then?"
"At his marriage day , I left his house "
"What ? Where did you live then?"
"My mom knew that something like that would happen and she had so much savings for me my studies, my food , my outfit everything. She had a house and that's where I live ."
"Your mom was super rich I think"
"Have you heard of ' Lily Johns ' a dancer "
"Of course I do . How can I not . She was my favorite dancer , she was my role model , but... she died some years ago . Wait , what ?! Is she your mother ?"
"Yes . I'm happy that you know her . So come on let's go . You've so much to do left , right "
"Yep "
We went shopping and I bought all the things I wanted. He tried to pay somewhere for me but I didn't allow him to do that. We're walking back to Jonathan now .
"Hey , how did your shopping go ?" Jonathan asked me .
" Let's go home " I said
" Okay " he replied
"Sorry guys I have to be somewhere so you can go ahead" Michelle said to us
"Yeah , see you later then " I said
She left .
"Should I carry your things to car? " Noah asked me .
'aaww , he's such a gentleman '
"No you don't have to. My dearest cousin will do it , right Jonathan?" I said
"Yeah " he replied and he took the things to his car .
" Bye Noah " I said
"Bye Jez , catch you later" he replied
After that I went to Jonathan's car . I sat quietly. Jonathan is scared of me whenever I'm angry and he makes up some kind of jokes that no one will laugh or tries to talk to me something to make my anger less.
" Hey there cousin. Why are you so quiet today ?" I stared at him . He looked at me and looked away suddenly.
" Uhmm. How did your date go ?" He asked me
"You're the one who's been on a date today . I should be the one asking that . " I replied
"Right , yeah . Uhmm" he replied
"I'm not angry " I said to him
He sighed . We went to home .
" Since I'm here I should come to your place ." He said
"Not today " I said that and went to my place taking my things I bought . Michelle came there after sometime .
"Hey , um. Jezi are you mad at me because I didn't come shopping with you. " She asked me
" No I'm not . I enjoyed it." I replied
"Oh . I'm relieved." She said
"Michelle, I'm so bored . How about we watch a movie ."
"Yeah sure . I have so many to watch "
"Okay then . I'll see you after I fresh up"
"Yeah , bye"
We saw a movie and ate food and slept in my room .
