"System connected successfully" A robotic voice sounded in Hina's head, making her eyebrows frown. Hina's eyes were still closed, feeling sleepy even after having woken up. She opened her eyes slowly, focusing on her ceiling and a sigh escaping her lips. She raised her arm and put it over her tired eyes. She had spent half of the night playing games, and even after waking up she was still tired, to the point of hearing voices. She let another sigh escape before forcing herself to wake up. Hina headed to the bathroom and began washing up. She had an exam today and woke up earlier than usual, so she could study a bit while at school. She stared at herself while brushing her teeth, her eyes not focused, suddenly she heard a sound of a bell, making her flinch. She continued to stare into the mirror. However, this time she wasn't looking at herself and rather a blue box. The blue box looked similar to how it looks in the games and manga, a simple design without many details and white text displayed inside it. She stood still, both shock and confusion visible in her dark pupils. Hina read the words in the box slowly, before her eyes wandered over her bathroom, looking for anything suspicious.
"System connected successfully, for information of the player, check the status window."
It was hard to believe that what she was seeing was real. Hina couldn't help but pinch herself, to make sure she wasn't dreaming. With a toothbrush still in her mouth, she called out for the status window. "Status" Hina tried to call it. She flinched once again when a new window opened in front of her eyes. This time, however, the blue box displayed information about her. She found it disturbing as to how this window had such information about her. Some of it, even her closest friends didn't know about.

Hina stared at the information window, shock visible in her eyes, and toothpaste foam visible in her mouth. Suddenly, her alarm from the room rang, snapping her out of her thoughts. She looked at the blue window one more time before continuing to wash up. Hina believed that she was hallucinating. There was no other explanation she could think of. She quickly finished washing up, changed into her school uniform and went out to the kitchen.
She was living alone. Her family had passed away a couple of years ago after their plane had crashed, leaving only her and her grandparents, who soon after also passed away due to the shock of losing their child and grandchildren. Hina, after their death, was left completely alone, losing her parents, brothers and even grandparents in a span of two years. Since then, she had experienced weird things such as hallucinations, and therefore didn't think much of the box suddenly appearing in front of her, although she did make a mental note to bring it up at the next therapy session.
She poured herself a bowl of cereal and continued to think of the box. She remembered the ability section and almost laughed. Perhaps she had played too many games. Continuing to look at the cereal box in front of her, she tried to utilize the Inventory space ability she saw in the blue box. A smile graced her face, she herself knew she would look like a joke if anyone had seen her believe her hallucinations. Thinking about it, her smile froze. The cereal box that was in front of me had disappeared into thin air, staring at the space where the box was, the blue window appeared once again.
