Our whole lives we had nothing but fear. Now we got the chance to not only explore our powers but also to feel more than just fear. What we had now was an unbreakable bond and every day was a celebration. We were just so happy for everything to be over and so excited to explore life. It didn't take long for the start of the new generation. The watchers and the watchresses fell in love with each other and it didn't long before most of the watchresses had a baby in them. Life was pure bliss but every day I thought about how hard we fought to get here and all the ones who didn't make it themselves.
It didn't take long though. Over a year later something showed up. A land surveyor god showed up and told us we were in violation of a bunch of rules set by the Overgod. We weren't supposed to be there and in fact, the land had already been bought. I blasted a world of lightning at him but was quickly overpowered and constricted. The god kept crushing me and I was too weak to escape him. This giant god was insanely more powerful than any god we ever saw. If he was anything else we might've tried sweeping him under the rug but we were forced to comply. He told us we had to get rid of everything and leave or we would have to go to court. The imp-like god left for business and told us to be gone by the time he got back. We started teleporting our worlds away to an open plot of space. Enraged, hurt, and unfocused I helped send the worlds off into a different corner of space. I went ahead to where we were sending them and everything was perfect. Until I realized a planet was missing. I went back and reopened the portal we sent it through and saw where the planet went. There was a disc-shaped planet covered in a city that was roaring in flames. The whole planet had exploded in two and was bolting into cold space. The planet we sent went to the wrong spot and killed tens of billions of innocents in an instant. Suddenly the fabric of space was ripped open above the rubble the size of a planet; a being floated out which I could tell was the Overgod. It was a very tall cloaked figure covered in white and gold. It had no face, just a light that shone from the inside of his hood. It held a staff with spikes that pointed up at the top. Before we could even process what was happening we found ourselves in a holding cell inside of a courtroom.
After just fifteen minutes a mysterious being teleported outside of the power-dampening holding cell. It was a very small creature that looked almost like a caricature of the land surveyor god. It had a snouty voice that told us it'd help us escape. Seeing that our only other option was to face the grave punishment of waiting for galactic law we listened to him. We were so joyous when we stepped through that portal and onto this odd planet. Then we looked around to find that things looked eerily familiar to God's solar system. It only took one second for us to get there, see where we were, and see the biggest army with God right behind it; all charging at us. The army had multiple trillions of beings in it and all were screaming threatening words while bashing their weapons. There was no way out of this impending doom.
All natural light was blocked. The whole sky was painted with creatures that wanted nothing more than to peel me apart. I was on the planet Mars which at this time was inhabited by many different species of people. I got a very terrible feeling in my stomach knowing what this meant. If God chose a planet with living organisms as the battleground then he wanted to kill them as well. Every second was a beating year, it was too much to handle. The sky raged and was closing in on us, so we all flew at it to stop it. We were hundreds to trillions and we had a zero to zero chance of living. Soon after the battle started I couldn't handle the horror. Although it seemed like we were winning at first God quickly came down on us full force and started butchering. The scene was so deafening and I knew I couldn't survive so I ran away. I left my friends, the people of the planet, and my dignity to die. Every ounce of me wanted to die that didn't already feel dead. My hands were tied and I knew that but part of me wanted to fight to at least try to save my friends and all the kids from getting slaughtered. I teleported to a hospital on a faraway planet and walked in the hallways of a hospital but almost all the rooms were empty or filled with people on the clock. I knew that any second God would be able to rip the portal I came through wide open and try to kill me. I broke through a wooden door and looked at the patient. My hair stood up knowing God would know if the door was broken, before I could think I had sent the patient through the window and in the atmosphere. My mind was freezing up on me and I was seeing things like they were on a slideshow. The hallway glowed and a portal ruptured open.
"We have to do something right fucking now," yelled the watcher who just burst through the portal.
We ran into a room and I started fumbling out words. "I-I-I can tras...fuck! T r a n s f e r your body into a patient. It's the only way."
"It's going to be you," he said as he started setting me on the ground and ripping my mind with my help and transporting it into the body of the patient. "I couldn't allow myself to keep living after what we've see..! Hell! What we've been seeing our whole lives." He dropped his voice down to a whisper as he laid my body in the hall and shut the door. "keep us alive."
That was the last thing I remembered before I faded into a new place.
