"Lou, please? I want you to come with me, please? I'll take you to dinner after as a thank you," Louis bit his lip, "Fine, I'll go," Harry hugged him tight with a big dimpled smile. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You're literally the best person ever," Louis giggled with a blush.

1 week later...

"Lou, you promised," Harry whined with a pout, "I-I... I'm scared, okay!" Harry frowned, "Why are you scared?" he asked. "B-Because I'm scared that I might find out who I am," Harry grabbed his hand gently, "Lou, why didn't you tell me?" he asked softly. "B-Because I see all the shit you go through and I'm scared about what's going to happen to me," Harry pulled him into a tight hug, "It's okay to be scared, but the only way to make that shit go away is to show them that you're not afraid even if you are,"

Louis let out a quiet sob, "Oh, Lou," Harry hugged him tighter, Louis hid his face in the crook of the taller's neck as he let out more quiet sobs. "Lou, look at me," Louis pulled away slightly and looked at the taller man, "I'm not going to make you go if you don't feel comfortable, okay? It's okay, I didn't know you felt this way," he told him as he wiped the smaller's tears.

"I-I want to go, I promised you, a-and I want to take that first step, just promise you'll be there with me?" Harry smiled at him, "Of course, always," Louis gave the younger a small smile. "Come on, lets go get a few things before the parade starts," the blue-eyed man nodded softly, making Harry grab his hand and pull him outside and to his car.

Once they were at the parade, Louis got scared again, "Lou, it's okay, I promise I'll be with you the entire time," Harry grabbed his hand in his, "I'm not going to leave your side, I promise," Louis nodded softly, "I trust you,"

Harry smiled at the smaller with a small washable rainbow tattoo on his cheek, a rainbow bandana loosely tied around his neck, and another tied around his ankle. "Come on, the parade is about to start," Louis nodded, "Be brave with me, yeah?" he asked softly, Louis gave him a soft smile as he nodded his head again.

The green-eyed man stepped out of the car before waiting for Louis to do the same, Harry grabbed his hand and pulled the smaller into the group of people wearing rainbows and all the pride flags you could imagine. Louis bit his lip nervously since Harry didn't let go of his hand when they stopped moving, "Haz, why are you still holding my hand?" Harry turned to him with a smile, "Because if I don't we'll get separated in the crowd, I don't wanna lose you," the blue-eyed man blushed.

"Thanks, t-that's very sweet of you," Harry squeezed his hand gently, "Of course, Lou," the smaller's cheeks became even darker as he smiled. Music was playing and soon the crowd started walking, people were dancing and singing in their pride outfits as they walked down the street.

After a while of walking, Louis accidentally became separated from Harry, he wandered onto another street. Harry was quickly trying to push through the crowd to find Louis, worried about where he could be. Louis turned and saw a group of protesters holding up religious signs and bible verses shouting slurs as loud as they could.
