Morgenthau's Apartment

"Okay, so the perp came in trough the window. Left a muddy red footprint, and apparently had sex with the dish rack." Jake said, while standing in the apartment.

"Shell casing found here, two shots." Y/N said, shoving with her hand, the direction they shot in. "Bang bang."

"Great work detective. You get a tie." Jake smiled and threw a tie to Y/N. She caught it easily, rolling her eyes.

"Hey, that's mine. You took it from my desk." Charles said.

"That's right Charles. Good solve." Jake said finding another tie from his pocket. "Tie for you too."

"Thanks!" Charles said enthusiastic, and caught it. Rosa laughed.

"Now, everyone be sure to put those on because it's impossible to solve crimes unless you're wearing a tie." Jake said loudly.

"Lay off the captain." Y/N sighed and checked her notes.

"Yeah! That man is gonna be my rabbi." Amy said smirking.

"Okay first of all, when you use the word 'rabbi', it kinda turns me on, secondly, your rabbi is a pain in my ass." Jake said.

Charles who had been searching the refrigerator, turned around. "Yeah, he's a little too serious. What fo you think Rosa?" He looked at Rosa.

"He seems cool." She said without looking up.

"Yeah, he seems cool. I agree." Charles hurriedly said, nodding.

"Looks like the perp stole a computer," Rosa said reading up from a list. "A watch, and Jamon Iberico ham valued at - what!" Rosa stopped and looked up. "$6.000,"

"$6.000 for a ham?" Jake asked with lifted eyebrows.

"Jamon Iberico is an amazing cured ham from Spain. They had it at my uncles funeral." Charles tells everyone. "I gorged myself at that funeral. I mean I was constipated for three days."

"Wow." Jake said nodding. "That's a great story, Charles thank you. Alright, listen up everybody better contact captain Holt, let him know we got a ten-tie situation."

Amy smirked, and saw Captain holt stand behind Jake. "Speaking of ties, where's yours meep morp?" Captain holt asked.

"That's fantastic." Jake silently mutters, before turning around to the captain with a fake smile. "Captain! Hey! Welcome to the murder. What are you doing here?"

"I'd like to know what my detectives are up to. That okay by you?"

"Yep."

"Take Y/L/N and knock on doors." Holt said looking at them. "See if the neighbours heard anything."

"Door duty? It's a waste of time." Jake said, but got ignored by the captain.

"Diaz and Boyle. Check in the coroner." Holt said. "Report back to me in an hour." Rosa nodded.

Jake sighed and turned back to Y/N. "Oh that went well."
