As I approach my new school, I head towards the office to collect my schedule and find my way around. Inside the office, I notice a boy my age sitting in front of the principal's office. He's staring blankly at the floor with an unusual and distant demeanor. There's something about him that feels strange, but I can't quite put my finger on it. It's like some kind of magnetic force that's pulling me towards him. As the principal emerges from his office, he directs me to go inside. I take one last glance at the boy before entering the principal's office.
After sitting down, the principal explains my schedule, hands me a map of the school, and provides additional information before finally dismissing me. As I leave the office, I notice that the boy from before has vanished. I take a mental note of this and begin to make my way to my first-period biology class. I look at the map and find my respective classroom. Upon arriving, I knock on the door and give the teacher a note for being late. The teacher then introduces me to the class, and I stand there awkwardly, feeling like I don't belong. She says, "Class, this is Addison Lindsey. She's new, so please be friendly." She then points to an empty chair next to someone and says, "Have a seat".
I I looked up and saw the same boy from earlier. I avoided eye contact with him and quickly sat down. He looked at me for a moment and then looked away. He was handsome, with porcelain skin, jet black hair, and green eyes that complemented each other well. He wore a dark navy blue long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, black jeans, and black and white dirty Converse shoes.
After around 20 minutes, I noticed him looking at me in my peripheral vision. He twirled a pencil around in his hand and looked me up and down. I focused on the assignment the teacher had passed out and finished it easily. After the bell rang, I turned in my paper and left. The boy stood up, and I noticed how tall he was - at least 6'5".
In my next class, Art, I sat down next to a pretty blonde girl. She was drawing a really detailed dragon in her notebook. I complimented her drawing, and she introduced herself as Nikki. She asked if I was a new student, and I confirmed that it was my first day. I told her about the boy from my previous class, describing him as tall, with black hair, green eyes, and a grumpy expression. Nikki recognized him as Jacob and said he was strange but harmless.
I nodded and focused on the teacher as the class began.
