Sitting in his invention room as his arms and head were on the wooden table grunting at the news of all that had happened though he felt that he answered with too much of a hoist at the station of her choice, Donatello still was not sure of this. In all honesty, he was happy to be a single prince with no marriage responsibilities other than making stuff to help others and his people.
Letting out a loud sign he would still be slouching but sitting up looking at the paper that was on his table that looked to be a blueprint of what he was last asked from Princess Granet making. Regardless she was a child and himself he felt that this request had more meaning use than she wrote in the letter.
Remembering that he wrote back to her but to his surprise, the letter being sent back to him then stated the war status making him feel not at all too thrilled that he might have lost a friend.
Donatello stands up and gets the blueprint to a desk so as not to go far from him and pleases the paper in then closes the drawer as well his eyes. “ Whatever the reason for this marriage to fail… Will be a high possibility… ”
“ Donnie,” Karai spoke, making Donatello look at her, seeing her silk skin almost seeing she was part snake. “ May I have a few words with you? ”
“ Why? Did my brother ask you to do this?” that question made her laugh as she walked in took a seat and smiled at him. “ As much as I can see why you would think that. But it is not correct, I have come here to talk to you about my reasons.”
Karai has been married to Leonardo for almost five years, but Donatello sees her as a sister to him the most, unlike his other sisters-in-law. “ What reasons would you possibly have that would make me agree to this marriage?”
“ You are a sweet man, Donnie. But you rely too much on your gadgets that will not help with what to do with the princess. Like, what is to happen if you fall in love with her?” Chuckling at her choice of words, then got a hand to his side looking at the inventions he was slowly working on. “ I love my inventions. There will be no falling in love with a woman… Because I know little of her, as she does to me. ”
Karai came up and placed her hand gently on his shoulder to get his attention to look at her as she smiled to comfort him. “ You never know, Donnie. But please remember, love comes and goes in mysterious ways. ”
She would then leave and Donatello would try to think of what she said as he was not too sure about that, getting himself to get one of his small inventions and tinkering with it.
She won't feel for him as he was over one hundred percent that her feelings for anything then her family is gone from the loss of her mother. “ This will be pointless…”

When the time came, Granet was not too thrilled while she stood there in front of her family with some guards taking some of her luggage to the carriage. But as her father came, he placed a hand on her shoulders and smiled proudly at her choice of doing this on his behalf. “Please write to me once you arrive.”
Only nodding his head she would then her head to her sisters as like always they mostly ignored her just like her mother getting madder at leaving her father with these three, but she could not go back on her words differently when her mother wanted to go too. “ I will, father… Please stay healthy.” when she bowed her head a little she then turned and went in the carriage getting her hand under her chin watching her carriage take her to the docks but also seeing her father's people's kids playing and smiling, making Granet smile a little.
Now she was going to miss everything here as she was going to be heading to a new kingdom filled with mutants of all kinds, while they might be like her people, the difference was their animal shifting was only for fighting or as if being threatened. But they mostly stayed in their human form, she would instantly get out of her thoughts while her carriage door was opened to show Roilen a big trusted knight that was loyal only to her and her father.
Before Granet had a crush on him, but her crush slowly turned into a brother-sister sort of feeling between each other as he had his hand out for her to exit, she would take it gently and step out while looking at the docks as well as a few other knights. “ I will be exporting you, Princess Granet. But once we reach their land, I will have to return here.”
Walking over to the boats and the ramp to the boat, Granet smiled big at him while she spoke as if in a relief tone. “ That I am glad to hear… I do not wish for my father to be alone with them…”
“ Yes. I feel the same.” Roilen replied as he walked behind her getting on the boat while then making sure her belongings she was taking would be down below deck and sadly secured.
While they did so Granet came over to the side of the ship she would get her hands on the wooden railing while looking a little down not used to being on a big boat to travel looking around to one of the shipmen she would speak up. “ How long will it take to arrive at the Hamato Kingdom?”
“ In about three days, my lady. ” Grunting at her answer she looked back out to the sea dropping the railing as she started to worry. “ What would keep me entertained for three days?” she mostly asked herself but then felt someone's hand on her head making her turn to see Roilen he looked to be about 6 feet tall but his smile showing his green eyes made Granet blush a little. “ Do not worry, Princess. I am sure the time will go by fast. ”
If only she wished that she could leave, she let out another sign and looked towards her home. “ If you say so, Sir Roilen...”
