SUMMER WAS OFFICIALLY OVER and Megan's life had been on an upward trajectory. Since the dreadful night at Cobra Kai, the dojo had closed down for good and Megan was happily at Miyagi Do— wait, Eagle Fang? Miyagi Fang? Who knows. All Megan knew was that she was happy.

I mean, why wouldn't she be? Her mother was getting better—finally out of her bed ridden state and alive and well. She was finally walking, cooking, and playing with Brandon every now and again.

Megan and Robby were also just as in love as ever. They were back in their honeymoon stage, although they never actually left it. Both of them had been in high spirits, especially given their home lives have finally lightened up.

Seeing as Carmen's pregnancy progressed quickly, the two families have been spending plenty of time together at the Diaz household. It was a tight squeeze for the newly combined family of five, but they also had Johnny's apartment to occupy.

Megan and Robby had progressed to the staying over stage of their relationship, so either one of them would stay the night at each other's homes. Although it was far easier to get some alone time at her house without Johnny breathing over their shoulder about the door being open. Supposed he was still in a protective state of his parenting.

Robby stayed at the Nichols household plenty of times to escape the chaos at his home. And in the process, he'd even met her mother—something Megan never thought would happen. As she was still working through her illnesses, Megan didn't want to overwhelm her too much, but it was important to her that Robby knew her mother.

Besides all that, Megan was back to working day and night in the dojo. The Sekai Taikai was approaching quickly and Megan needed to put in the work. Sure, she'd improved plenty during her time at Cobra Kai, but that was all she'd ever known. She had to start from scratch.

It was time for her to learn the way of Miyagi-Do and forget the way of the fist.

Megan threw her limbs through the air with precision whilst she sparred with Tory. She threw her leg out in a spin kick, grunting when her sister blocked it. "Come on, Meg. Your moves are all off."

Sighing, Megan ran her hands through her hair. "I know, I know. I'm trying, I am."

"What happened to that badass fighter at Cobra Kai?"

Megan looked at her sister with a distinct warning spread across her face. "I don't want to be that Megan, Tor. That Megan burned more bridges than I can count. I'm done with her. Right now, I'm just trying to get back to the old Megan."

"I don't think you've really changed that much," Robby says as he makes his was over to his girlfriend.

Megan looked at Robby before shaking her head. "Says the guy who broke up with me."

He nodded. "Yeah, I deserved that one."

Megan laughed, wrapping her arms around him and kissing him. Tory takes that as her exit out and begins to walk away. Pulling away from the kiss, Megan and Robby smile at each other before they're getting called over by the rest of the students for a presentation Eli and Demetri had planned.

Megan and Robby move forward and push their way to the front of the seat of teenagers. "It's been a long road, but we're finally all on the same side. And as a reward? The toughest test any of us have ever had to face."

"The Sekai Taikai is the most prestigious karate tournament in modern martial arts history," Demetri starts. "For over a century, fighters from across the globe have gathered every two years to compete for the title of World's Best."

"If the All Valley is March Madness, this is the Olympics," Eli continues, "plus the gladiator games and kumite from Bloodsport all rolled into one."

"If we win—" Eli clears his throat. "Excuse me, when we win, the spoils will be life-changing."

"But, it's going to take all of our focus and all the wisdom our senseis have to offer."

"Yes, which is why we decided to take at least one thing off your plates. Coming up with our new dojo name."

Megan smiles. Finally, she some damn clarity on what the hell this place was called.

"Yes! After some spirited brainstorming and ad hoc focus-grouping, and also a dojo-wide vote, we have a winner. We give you..." The two boys pull down the sheet, revealing a new logo and title for the dojo. "Miyagi Fang Karate!"

Everyone applauds the logo, looking at the flames surrounding a cartoon curated image of Mr. Miyagi. Megan tilted her head. She couldn't decide if she hated it or loved it, but it wasn't her call. Looking back to Daniel. he didn't seem to keen on it either.

Megan leans to Robby's ear. "I think he hates it."

Robby looks at her to see her nod in Daniel's direction. Robby lets out a light chuckle. "I don't know, it's not bad. I like it."

"Yeah, it's not bad."

Robby laughs. "You hate it, don't you?"

Megan shrugs. "Not my personal cup of tea."

Robby shakes his head, wrapping a loose arm around her shoulder. She looked at him and smiles, placing a chaste kiss to his lips before she disperses with the rest of the class to begin training.

Robby stands still for a moment gazing at her as she smiles, laughing with a couple of the other teens. Damn, he was so in love with her.
