Chapter 4 - Start a Garage Band

CJ

Mr. Bandt aka a one man band because he teaches band , drama and health without his own classroom.

But Mr. Bandt was going to teach us how to rock .

While we were in health class . Crispo was trying to 'help' this dummy breath .

He wasn't doing great so Mr. Bandt tried to help get him away .

He sat back down and smiled at me . I'm glad he's my boyfriend.

Yes Boyfriend. You heard right .

"Ok so we are going to have our first band showcase " Mr .Bandt said .

"So if you ever wanted to start a garage band well here is your chance " Mr. Bandt .

"Let's make this a thing on our list " I said to them .

"I've been looking for some creative outlets " Fenwick said . I looked at Crispo .

"I don't know " he said . I gave him a look .

Crispo

She gave me the look . She's so cute . I have to say yes but what do we get if we win .

"Come on guys " Mr. Bandt said .

"How's health class doing ?" Mr. Roberts says .

"I'm trying to get them to do it but they don't want to " Mr. Bandt said .

"How about 100 dollars to the spaghetti yard " Mr. Roberts said .

Everyone was screaming especially Crispo . They really want that spaghetti.

That's when I had the next thing on our list . Start a Garage Band.

The first step in forming a garage band is gathering your friends .

"Ok so what should we sing " Fenwick says .

"SPAGHETTI , SPAGHETTI " Crispo screams .

It's cute .

"Ok so I think CJ should sing " Fenwick said .

"Ok because we are going to win that spaghetti " Crispo said .

"Right but we want to have fun" I said .

"But will still win the spaghetti " he says .

"Yeah " I say .

Let's skip over what has happen to when we have fun.

We played for hours .

Then came the step six.

Our creative differences.

"Last night I wrote soap opera about robot boy " Fenwick said .

"A soap opera " I say .

"Music was coming to me , I couldn't shut it down ." Fenwick said .

"Well I wrote a song about when you like someone but not sure they like you back " I say .

"Wait you like someone else " Crispo said.

"No I still like you " I said to Crispo .

"Ok " he says .

"There is one thing that can make us win , Dry ice " Crispo says and opens his locker .

"No dry ice " Fenwick says and leaves .

Then we started coughing because of the dry ice .

We started playing . The beat didn't go with the words .

"Can we change the words?" I ask Fenwick .

"No " he says .

"What are you doing " I say as I turn to Crispo .

"I'm making some explosives " he says .

"No explosives " I say . Then we began fighting .

That's when step seven comes up .

The band breaks up .

Th next day you should go to step 8 and get the band back together.

I walk up to Crispo .

"We should totally get the band back together " i say.

"I'm sorry , I joined Mindy and the Mindettes " he says out loud .

I'm shocked .

The Mindy comes .

"Face it CJ , the only way your boyfriends going to win anything is if he's with me " she says in an evil tone .

"Really Crispo " I say sadly .

Then Mindy and her friends take him away .

I go up to Fenwick.

"Why are the Froman twins following you?" I ask Fenwick.

"I'm joining them " he says .

"What !?" I say .

"Sorry CJ" he says and walks away .

I look at the list and cross out robot boy . I put CJ Martin .

I sigh .

I go home and practice by myself .

Then my brother scares me . So does my mom and dad .

I explain everything and then we have fun .

We get to there and see as people perform and then I realized I should try to get the band together.

I then hear explosion.

Crispo.

I walk around the corner .

"We don't need explosives , all we need Is for you to stand there and be my boyfriend " Mindy says .

"I'm not your boyfriend, I'm CJs and I regret going to you , she lets me use explosives." Crispo says .

"Them come back to the band " I say .

"Ok" he grabbed my hand .

I smiled.

Then we look for Fenwick.

We all performed.

We won the spaghetti.

Crispo threw up for eating a lot .

Fenwick turned in robot boy as an assignment and got an A.

The day was good.
