IT WAS FINALLY THE DAY DDOT MET MY DAD i was mad nervous, because ma dad was very protective over me. Me and ddot had been dating for 3-4 months already, he was always taking me on fancy dates and to the studio with him and I was always at his house.
I got up from my bed heading to my bathroom, I was gonna take a quick lil shower and put on a basic lil outfit.
I grabbed my speaker connecting my phone to it, I got in the shower listening to her way - PARTYNEXTDOOR , once I got out the shower I grabbed my body towel drying off and wrapped it around my body, I went my closet picking out js a cute lil fit.
I washed my face and put on skincare, I put on some lipgloss and then mascara. My phone started Ringing with the contact name L O V E R 🤞🏽🩷. "Hello?" I said answering it "hey Mami" ddot said on the other end of the phone "heyy yu ready fa today?" I said while I applied the mascara on my eyes.
"I'm nervous yo dad look like he could hurt me bro" ddot said which made me laugh a lil cuz ma dad was the sweetest person ever but he also didn't play bout me. I picked up the phone walking out the bathroom to my bedroom.

"Boy that man wouldn't hurt a fly" I said laughing while I put on my shoes "he sure look like he could do more den dat, but bye Mami I gotta get ready love yu mh" ddot said while I put on my right shoe "aight I love yu bby" I said before I hung up the phone.
I put on my shoes and grabbed my purse and I went downstairs, I went to the kitchen where my dad was standing.
He was making pancakes my favorite, he was also making eggs and bacon.
"Heyy dad" I said getting some orange juice from the fridge, I grabbed a cup and started pouring the juice "hey baby yu ready ta eat? He said flipping the pancake.
"Yea it smells good too" I said sitting down at the table, my dad then brought the food to the table "so are yu ready ta meet him dad?" I said lifting my head up a little as I took a bite out of the pancake.
"I guess he seems like a nice kid but yk how I feel about gangs n shii Kenzie.." my dad said, I knew how much he hated gangs. He gang banged when he was 15 and because of it he almost lost his life.
when he started doin it again they broke in the apartment. I was only 5 when my mom died in a car accident, things had become complicated for me and dad but he still did everything he could ta make me happy and have everything I needed.
"He's gonna be here in like 6-5 minutes" I said looking at the time on my Apple Watch, it was already 7:10 cuz I woke up early I guess.
We ate and talked and laughed about memories I loved my dad so much he was js my best friend.
6 minutes passed by and a few seconds later I heard a knock on the door, Me ddot and my dad were gonna go bowling at main event.
"HII BBY" I squealed seeing ddot come in the door, I hugged him so tight as he did the same "hey mh" he said as he kissed me on the cheek.
"How yu doin Mr.Martinez?" Ddot said shaking my dad's hand "I'm doin good son how about yourself?" My dad said shaking his hand back.
This was a good first impression, my dad and ddot were actually getting along in the car ride.
Once we get there we had so much fun too, I had ofc won the first round and then we ate wings. Once we went home I was so tired.
I took a shower, put on my clothes and went right ta bed honestly it went better then I expected.
All I know was that I loved ddot so much I don't ever wanna let go I wanna marry him.
