魔法の槍-Chapter 1

~Natsumi's POV~

It was a Monday morning, I had to go to school again.I was just eating bread,oatmeal and a few fruits for breakfast, I looked at the clock and checked the time.

"Shit! I am going to be late"

I picked up my bag and decided to walk to school,since school isn't that far away from home, I can't be late again like last week, I find it quite strange that everyday many people go missing and the percentage of missing people has increased by 80% in a time span of a month, and a few days ago I was attacked by a group of people while I was coming back home from my bestfriend,Ren's house.

"I got distracted,again."

I thought that it was stupid I got distracted this easily,I decided to run to get to school since I didn't have much time left and I can't be late,again.I felt someone poke me from behind,it was my elder brother,Ei.

"EI? I thought you were at work"

He was looking down at me,since I am quite short I only reach his shoulders.

"You forgot this",Ei replied.

In his hand was my bag and my lunch

"Oh sorry I was in quite a hurry" 

I rested my hand on my head,I grabbed my bag and lunch in a hurry and walked away after waving goodbye

"Thanks!"

~Ei's POV~ 

'She is stupid but she is my younger sister after all, her ideas are quite stupid for a 14 year old'

I thought,I was on a day off from work so I could relax,I always work overtime so its nice to take a small leave.

I walked home after handing Natsumi her stuff,I opened the door and walked to the living room, I sat on the couch and thought,

'What is Natsumi doing right now?'

'Is she safe?'

'Is she alright?'

I realized it was stupid to think this but I was her elder brother after all,so its my responsibility to take care of her and protect her at all costs,I rested my head on one of the cushion and fell asleep.

~At Natsumi's school~

~No one's pov~

Natsumi was late once again,her sleep schedule was way beyond repair so she had dark circles under her eyes still,her purple eyes started looking dull and her energy was drained,she was getting scolded by one of her teachers for being two minutes late to class,her teacher was strict to her so she could be perfect,they kept saying that, 'she was different than the others' 

"Natsumi?" Natsumi was sitting on her chair which was the last desk in row A,she turned around to see who is the source of the sound and she saw her bestfriend, Ren, standing next to her.

"Damn,you really need to get some sleep", Ren said while looking at the dark circles under Natsumi's eyes

"I just stayed up all night researching" Natsumi replied with a tired tone of voice.

Ren sighed and replied, 

"Natsumi, I know its another reason why you are acting like this,its not healthy to stay up at night and your eyes have lost their usual spark,is there something wrong?" 

She was talking in a soft tone which was quite nice to hear,even though she had quite a deep voice 

Natsumi sighed and replied,

"Yes..... I can't say it out loud and maybe it will sound dumb, so meet me later at lunch we are still in class."

 Natsumi was being dead serious,Ren could tell by the tone of Natsumi's voice,then by accident Natsumi's book teleported on top of Ren's head and when Ren read the book she was disgusted since it was a romance novel,Natsumi snatched away the novel and put it in her bag.

"Its nothing,seriously." 

She looked at Ren and Ren was disgusted and confused,she spoke in a silent tone,

"Natsumi,how do you know how to telport stuff?Don't tell me you are also a  majutushi?"

Natsumi nodded yes and said,

"Now do you know why the teachers here treat me ike this?Just because of my magical blood and powers they see me as a threat and they just try to stress me out to drain the magic out of me so I can't use it except Kira-sensei..."

Ren sighed and replied,

"Lets just talk about this later we are in class,Natsumi."

 Ren went to her seat to sit down and waited for the teacher to come to class,she was excited since its Maths class and she loves mathematics which Natsumi found very weird since Natsumi hated Mathematics more than anything in the whole world.
