Fate

The First Encounter

*A day to go back in  University
Sunday morning around 8:00 am

I have packed my things like clothes, the essentials like groceries, skin care (even tho, sometimes I forgot to do skin care routine at home huhu), the papers, calculator that I don't even know why I brought it at home, and lastly the rice because we're poor, the food in the cafeteria and market inside the University are so expensive like it's not even student budget friendly. How about us poors can't even have a proper meal at school (brunch and dinner only). Now that I'm finished doing my things, I'm off to go! I go to my lola's room to blessed and bid my farewell. "la aalis nako papuntang  school" I said. "okay ingat po and keep in touch with your ante in the neighbouring municipality" she said. I bid my farewells to my parents as  well and go to the area where I'm waiting for a van to commute.

I put my two traveling bags on the side since it's very heavy, I feel like my limbs will be broken carrying those bags especially the bag of rice huhu. While waiting in the side of the road, a car suddenly stop in front of me. It was a nice car and you can tell that it was expensive. It is shown in a commercial in social media. But I feel irritated, how can I stop the van if it parks in front of me. "This four wheeled are really feeling superior in the road! My goodness!" I said while rolling my eyes in the car. Someone has come out the car, a handsome man in his 30s. He has broad shoulder, he has sparkling eyes and a high nose bridge. He's familiar to me like I've already seen him on the Internet but younger version. It's approaching me, wait, what is he up to? I am feeling nervous while I stepped back and I've been cornered in the alley " lord d pako naka ka graduate, marami pa akong pangarap sa buhay huhu. Is it my end na ba lord? Mamatay nlang akong single nito? Lord naman, gusto ko pang yumaman" my thoughts. He asked me if I'm going to my University and telling me he wants to give me a ride. "Are you Lea Delle? " he ask. "uhm yes I am,... How do you know my name? I asked." well the fate help me to know you " he replied while smiling." naka high ba to? Lord naman babalik na nga lang sa states  dami pang ganap" my thoughts.

He's offered me to give me a ride but I don't even know who he was baka serial killer pala to tapos d nako abutan ng gabi,mygoodness lea! Pls think carefully before you decide but if I will accept his offer,  makakasave ako ng pamasahe ko. "let me think for a second" I said. "Lord guide me po and sana d po masamang tao to"I whispers. A few minutes have passed, "hmmmmmmm, okaaay! Let's go to the University" I replied to him. Lord sana tama ang desisyon ko. I enter the car and he carry my bag to the backseat, while I seat infront. Wow a passenger princess si ate for today's videow. Finally after a million years have passed, he enters the car. " Put your seat belt on" he said while starting the engine. I was struggling on putting the seat belt when he suddenly lean towards me (shieeeeet sobrang lapit that I even catch his breath) and I'm screaming internally. "Let me put it on" he said and me being a burikat I let him do it and my face and ears went super red  and it's very embarrassing. Why I'm being like this huhu he's way too older for me para kiligin.

On the way to the place where my thrice meal will be twice meal na lang, I feel like there was something off with him like I can feel the blues inside the car. "Are you okay?" I ask him since I'm worried. "I'm fine, I'm actually happy because I see you and spent time together again" he replied. "again? Sorry but I don't remember you  or having interaction with you in the past" I replied. "not in the past" he replied. I'm side eyeing on him and  Shet naka high ba to, should I jump out of the car? Sheeeet! (*internal screaming) Calm down leys , let us just act normal and ride with his thoughts, free ride na to huhu. "oh really haha?" I replied with an awkward smile. "I know leys you're being judgemental right now please stop doing that and hear me out" he replied with a calm voice. ("leys??, he knows my nickname, how much did he knows about me?") "okay then but make sure it's believable or else I'll think you're high" I insist. "these car ride is  2 hrs so I guess I have plenty of time to talk with you" he replied. "but first let me ask you one thing" I said, "what is it? He asked." what is your name?, we're talking for a half of an hour now but I don't even know your name" I said. "ohh are you sure, you don't know me?" he replied. How would I know dummy, mag aask ba ako if alam ko tsk²... "you're familiar but  I can't figure who you are" I replied, " You're not into K-pop nowadays?" he asked. "I'm not that active now, but I do watch their videos on tiktok" I replied,  "and you don't know me? Ya lea delle, how could you do this to me, I'm at peak of fame this year and I also pop up in tiktok" he replied while sulking. He looked like a duck while pouting lol. In his age he wouldn't be in a K pop group, is he perhaps an actor? Sabagay ang gwapo niya and he really fit in the face and build standards in korea. "Are you an actor?" I asked. "no, I'm a musician, a singer" he said. I have no idea who he was, in his age, he's more fitting to be a model or an actor. "before I say my name, I'm going to tell you what are our relationship  and the reason I am here talking to you" he said. I just nodded myself since I'm still guessing who he was. "I'm your husband in the future, and I'm here because I want to tell you in the future no matter what happens I truly love you and I'm begging you not to give up " he said with the sad tone. I don't really believe what he says but I feel sympathetic towards him." I'm Anton Lee btw "he said while driving. Anton lee? From riize, are you kidding me? When I look at him right now, I can really see the resemblance between them. I was really dumbfounded" Are you really telling  the truth? And if you really come from the future, how do you get in here? " I asked." I'm telling you the truth and it's complicated that you won't really believe it" he added. Okay let's act like we believe what he says, if I really married him then my name will be Lea Lee, ang panget naman ng combination huhu. If he's here does it mean our relationship didn't work out? Or something happened to me in the future? "so what happened to me in the future then? Did I get my dream job and did my family live in luxurious life?" I asked. It's not that I believe what he says but I'm just put an act about asking him. "You became a surgeon and a high paying model and you're family really live a good life and goes to many places to have a vacation" he said while smiling in the face. I feel satisfied of what he said being a surgeon and about my family but looking to my physical appearance and my height, I don't really has good attributes to be a model. Maybe, perhaps he's lying.

After 2 hrs we arrived at my dormitory, "were here" he said. "how do you know that this is my dorm?" I asked. "You tour me here in 2030, you showed me where you stay here in the University" he replied. Our university, we have 3 dormitories, the 2 dorm were at the upper campus and my dormitory was in the lower campus. He helped me to carry my bag at the counter, since the visitor was only allowed at the receiving area. "Thank you for giving me a ride and for carrying my bag, I really appreciate it" I bowed. "it's fine and I'm really happy that I got a chance to talk with you again, even where the fate leads you, I am waiting in the future" he bid his farewell and go now. Why I feel sad that he is leaving already, should I chase him? He's already outside of the building and my guts are telling me to go after him. I run outside of the building and he was nowhere to be found. "What the-? He left already but I didn't hear a car starting the engine" I said while panting and I looked both sides of the road if the car was still in the campus but there's no car at the road. I got chills thinking about him and what he says and my head hurts . "Is he really came from the future?!" *internally screaming
