This mix is one of my favorites! Once blended, it looks like sand from the beach!

Seaweed
Tuna
Shrimp
Eggshell
Oyster shell
Sage
Moss
Snail shell
Coconut
Banana

Seaweed that is found at the beach must be identified before it can be used. This would be a great time to use the database provided by LHCOS. If it's a safe sea vegetable, you can dehydrate it for 12-24 hours or until thoroughly dry.
You can also buy Nori seaweed at most stores, and it is already prepared for you. Ensure it is salt free and single ingredient
Blend until it's a powder.

Tuna - most tuna has been canned with extra salt. If you can find a can without salt, or fresh tuna, it would be a great addition to the mix. Dehydrate it for 24 hours at a a high temperature.
Shrimp - can be bought from a pet store as freeze dried krill, or from a grocery store fish dept. Dehydrate shrimp for approx 24 hours or until thoroughly dry.
Eggshell - Saving eggshells when you use them! There is no need to remove membrane. You can dehydrate these, or bake in your oven at 200°F
Oyster shell - you can find these in the animal section of stores, or in an animal food store. Amazon would be a good option.
Sage - If there's anything I've learned on my travels, it's that safe grows everywhere.
Moss - can't go wrong with moss.
Snail shell or Starfish - If you can get ahold of some snail shell, you can place them on the mix at the end to make it look like a beach shoreline
Coconuts, and Bananas can both be bought already dry, but if you'd like, you can buy them in their fresh form, and dehydrate them yourself.
Google "How to open coconut"
Once it's clean, you can even use the coconut as a hide in your habitat!
Slice banana and dehydrate for 12 hours at a low temperature. Blend with coffee grinder.
