Demetrius Desmond

That's the only thing that's been on your mind since you woke up today. It's been on your mind as you were freshening up, as you were eating breakfast, and even on the bus.

Now, you stand in front of the academy, suddenly scared to go in. Because you didn't want to see him.

Of course, it can be said that you two shared a past together, so you had no reason to be scared of him. But it's not him you're scared of, it's what you did to him just a few days ago before you traveled back in time, that terrified you.

If you see him today, memories of how you stabbed him, exactly how deep you stabbed him, and his betrayal, will come back to you and you did not want that. You didn't know how you would be able to handle it if such memories get recalled, and you did not want to have a panic attack on the very first official day of school.

Still, you knew Loid was somewhere around watching you both due to the trouble Anya caused yesterday, so you had no choice but to go into school.

As you walk the familiar path to class, you feel nostalgia overwhelm you. Only then do you realize how long it's been since you completed 7th grade and went onto 8th and then 9th. Having already been to the higher grades, you thought of how different it felt. 7th was the last year any student gets true freedom, before they move onto harder, bigger courses.

You told yourself that this time, instead of sitting alone by yourself in a corner until Desmond notices you, you were going to make the most out of 7th grade. Have fun, go out, etc. Even if you don't have any friends, you would have fun by yourself.

As you were thinking this and walking to class, you hear soft footsteps behind you, which soon turned heavy as if they were running. Curiously, you turn around to see who they belonged to, and your widen as you realize who it is.

A boy of your age (at least the age you looked like currently), with platinum blonde hair and lavender eyes, was running in the direction you were walking, with a heavy bag on his shoulders and a piece of toast in his mouth. He looked very disheveled; hair messy, clothes untidy, and shoes loose.

You remembered this memory from the past. You, a new and nervous student, were walking in this exact direction, and the boy came running exactly like that. Except, in your past, you didn't speak a word to him. Even when he said hi. But this time will be different.

"Good morning", you say with a small smile just as the boy was about to pass you. He seemed startled when you greet him, and swallowed his last piece of the toast before he smiled back at you.

"Good morning to you too!", he exclaims, fixing the bag on his shoulder. Then he looks at you more closely. "I apologize, I can't seem to recognize you. Have we spoken before?" He tilts his head.

"Ah, no", you say, a bit awkward. "I'm new and I don't know anyone here, so..."

"Ahh, I see!" He grins, extending a hand to you. "Welcome to Eden, then! I can show you around and familiarize you with the area later if you'd like! Oh, and we can have lunch together too!"

"Oh wow, that would be great... Thanks so much!" you say, a little surprised by the sudden offers he made, but he is a social butterfly, according to what you observed in the past, so it wasn't all that unpredictable for him to say something like this.

"I'm Y/n. Y/n Forger." You introduce yourself as you shake his hand. 'And his name must be...'

"I'm Oliver Henderson. Nice to meet you Y/n!" Oliver exclaims. 'Oliver Henderson.. Right.. Wait! Henderson??!'
