"This is rare, why are you home?" Soonyoung questioned as he walked into the kitchen to see his husband looking in the fridge. "Can I not be in my own house?" Jihoon answered, pulling something out of the fridge and closing it.

"No, no. Nothing wrong with you being in your own house. It's just weird seeing you here on a Tuesday at twelve in the evening." Soonyoung answered as he moved closer to the other and quietly watched him as Jihoon found a spoon and ate right out of the container.

"So why are you eating ice cream at this time?" Soonyoung questioned as he leaned on the counter and crossed his arms. Jihoon lower the spoon from his mouth and looked down. "Well I was trying to increase the rate..." Jihoon mumbled, the rest of his sentence lost in the air.

"Can you say that again? Couldn't hear you." Soonyoung asked as he leaned his ear closer to Jihoon's mouth. "I was trying to increase the rate of having a girl since you really want one." Jihoon softly mumbled as he played with the spoon in his hands and was looking down towards the ground.

Soonyoung's heart melted right then and there as he cooed and pulled Jihoon into a warm hug, running his fingers through the other's long black hair. "Aren't you a cutie, Tofu. You're really going out of your way to make me happy knowing I'll be okay if we get another boy." Soonyoung stated as he looked down at the younger with a smile.

"Well, it's the least I can do as you try your hardest to be the best father you possibly can be." Jihoon answered as he looked up at the older with sparkling eyes that melted Soonyoung's heart even more to a full puddle of love he has for the younger.

He pulled the other back into his embrace as he slowly swayed them side to side. "So, eating sweet foods will help increase the rate of having a girl?" Soonyoung asked as he rested his chin on the other's head. Jihoon nodded as he tucked his head farther under Soonyoung's chin.

"It's supposed to." Jihoon said, his words a bit muffled as they were said into the older's chest. "But you're not really a sweet-tooth. Are you sure you wanna eat sweets for seven more months?" Soonyoung asked with worried as he looked the other's eyes.

"If it means I'll have a baby girl with the man I love, it'll be worth." Jihoon said as he brushed his hand through Soonyoung's short black hair. "When did you get so cheesy?" Soonyoung teased with a bright smile playing on his lips.

Jihoon clicked his tongue and moved away from the older with an annoyed expression on his face. "These stupid mood swings bro." Jihoon said as he went back to eating his ice cream. "'Bro'? What happened to the pet names?" Soonyoung continued to tease the shorter male as he leaned against the kitchen sink.

"Go away before I break your nose." Jihoon threatened as he gave the taller a side eye. "Don't we have an appointment today?" Soonyoung asked as he had a pretend thinking expression on his face; already knowing that they do.

He watched as the younger's eyes widened as he looked at the other with an 'oh shit' look on his face. "Why didn't you tell me?!" Jihoon said as he gave Soonyoung a hit on the arm.

"Because it's not for another thirty minutes." Soonyoung said, not able to contain his laughter any longer as Jihoon started throwing punches at him. "Gosh! I fucking hate you!" Jihoon exclaimed as a pout made its way onto his lips.

"But weren't you just saying how much you love me?" Soonyoung said as he pulled the other into his arms. At that exact moment their teenage sons walked into the kitchen and throwing their bags on the island. "We're home." Daehoon stated as he walked over to the fridge.

"I think they can see that idiot." Jaeyoung retorted as he took his school laptop out. "How was school boys?" Soonyoung asked as he let Jihoon untangle himself from his arms. "It was school." Jaeyoung answered as he started typing on his laptop.

"Me and Yonhei are going to throw a party!" Daehoon exclaimed as he tapped on the island with excitement. "Good luck doing that, we have plans this weekend." Jihoon said as he walked out of the kitchen.

"What are we doing?" Daehoon asked following his Appa out of the kitchen. "We have to visit Grandma and Grandpa this weekend." Jihoon answered as he started to walk up the stairs.

"Oh come on! Can we visit them next week?" Daehoon asked, throwing his head back. "Are you the parent? I don't think so. If I say we're going to visit your grandparents, we're going to visit them and that's final." Jihoon sternly said before disappearing upstairs.

Daehoon groaned and turned to look at his father. "Dad?" He asked with hope, "sorry bud, but we have to go visit them. You never know what could happen if we didn't. Don't take seeing your elders for granted." Soonyoung said as he went upstairs to get ready for their doctor's appointment.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Daehoon asked walking into the kitchen to start his homework. "It means you shouldn't not see the ones you love because you never know if they'll pass away in the time you didn't go see them." Jaeyoung explained as he closed his laptop and put it away.

"So no party?" Daehoon asked as he watched his brother leave the kitchen. "Nope." Jaeyoung answered before he fully left the kitchen. Daehoon sighed as he turned to his computer and started on his homework.

"I swear he's like you. Always wanting to throw a party of some sort." Jihoon said as he fixed his hair in the mirror. "Why can't he be like Jaeyoung and be calm and civil?" Jihoon asked as he turned to look at Soonyoung who just smiled at him.

"Because there has to be a balance. Just like how we balance each other, they balance each other. Daehoon is like me because he knows he has someone to ground him." Soonyoung answered as he massaged the other's shoulders.

"When did you become so wise?" Jihoon asked in a teasing tone. "Ever since I married you, now come on." Soonyoung stated as he took the other's hand and guided him out of the room.

"We'll be back. Make sure your brother stays out of trouble Jae." Jihoon said as the teenager nodded, not looking away from his book he was reading. "Love you guys." Soonyoung said before closing the door and off they were.
