Blood, a funny concept if you ask me, this red liquid which is vital for our survival is also one of the things that people are terrified of. We all need it but when people see it, they get disgusted, faint, throw up, and depending on the situation get paralyzed.
Let us jump to another topic related to this concept, the smell of blood. Animals are guided by blood, some follow their smell, and some escape it, but all the same to them it is a sign, it can be the sign of food or the sign of a threat. A very dangerous threat.
Now here, in Zone Zero the biggest threat related to blood isn't a bear, or a shark, not even a human, here in Zone Zero exist creatures that crave blood, they live to see blood splattered, human blood to be precise. They don't suck it out of your body like vampires are said to do, no, that's not what they like, they like to see humans play games, games that lead them to bleed out in the most painful of ways.
